B.M. if you want a welder but dont have a lot of money or experience you should get this welder!

it comes with everything you need to start a mask, wire, and the welder of course. If you can use a hot glue gun then you can use this welder! I actually have one so i would know haha

I have that same welder. Using it to learn on making a bar stool racer and next will be a mini-chopper.

thats my welder, and its great. i cant say anything bad about it.

not true, sometimes i almost think things through too much.

the engine from this bike is now in my kart. and the rest of it will be used in other builds.

its a good learning experience as well.

not to say i didnt get any riding from it though. i put about 5 hours on it.

Actually brazing can be stronger then welding in certain applications; the reason why is that when you're brazing the filler flows into the joint and coats a larger surface area then you could get while welding. So it would be a lousy method if you wanted to do a butt joint or fillet or whatever but it would work really well for something like a lap joint where you could only make a weld bead on two points whereas with brazing, if you do it right, you can make the filler flow between the two pieces of metal and you would get a bond covering the entire overlap. You can apply this to tubing by putting a metal dowel in the ends of the tubing you want to join. Or if you want to braze a piece of tubing perpendicular to another piece of tubing you can use steel bands.
