Looks like a Veneno. I highly doubt anything will come of this thing. Besides, the threshold to hit 300mph is tires, and electric vehicles are heck on tires.

That's like dragster amounts of power.
Sure, maybe it has like 5k hp and 6 motors per wheel, but probably has ~10 mi. range.
And with everything MADE out of batteries.

You also have to take into consideration the extra weight for cooling the motors, batteries and probably whatever controller boards to run it. It's going to be a very heavy car just to keep all of it cool.

A fact huh what is the exact number your Olds will do 0-60? Unless you have a concrete answer you can't go throwing around "facts" bro. This is a good way to get talked into a race when you start driving, and then getting beat badly lol!

He states it has a restrictor plate...riiight. Unless that is a V8 under that hood with a minimum of a 650 cfm 4bbl carburetor, I highly doubt it has a restrictor plate, let alone a tapered spacer. To me it's another Gutless Cutlass, or Gutless Supreme.

Dont have exact # and the spedo dont work cant get a 0-60 but that car can get up there quick im gonna turbo it when i get a job in a year or so

I get the feeling that your car beating that mustang was like those ricers beating my grandpa's corvette, the faster car wasn't even trying. No kidding, when my grandpa is at a stop light and a ricer pulls up next to him wanting to race, he waits for the light to turn green, launches like he is going to race, then lets off and cruises to speed. Meanwhile the ricer goes screaming down the road. It's hilarious. Even though a souped up mini gave him a run for his money once. But it's an 88, not the fastest corvette ever, but still cool.

LOOKING at it doesn't tell you what kind of abomination an Alfa Arna really is..

Alfas in the eighties had a very bad reputaion for being technically
about the worst cars you'd be able to buy but rather beautiful ...

Nissan at the same time had a very bad reputation for building rather reliable cars
in the most boring possible dress imaginable..

So Alfa Romea and Nissan teamed up to raise their reputation
and build the car to solve all issues.. the Alfa Arna

And guess what?

What is the smallest/lightest diesel( the American way or the rest of the world way of pronunciation....) engine for a automotive type vehicle made???

Probably the 1.9 VW TDI Golf, Jetta, Passat. Maybe the Chevy Cruze diesel we had for maybe 1 or 2 model years...didn't sell well. Outside of those, not much off the top of my head. Obviously we have the PowerStroke, Cummins ISB (and older B-series), Duramax.

Or maybe the VW 1.6 IDI.

Planning on doing a diesel swap in something that needs to be light weight or just for trivia sake?

converting an old motorcycle engine (350cc) to diesel and implanting that into the Trabant
Yes you could ask him to make you one, yes it was road legal and yes there are more than ten IIRC..
So if you consider that plastic can of troubles a car, then you might have a winner.
it certainly was a vehicle of the 'automotive type'

But frankly.. SMART CDI 800cc is a much more "reliable" answer when being asked for the smallest serial production diesel (of it's time?)

The CDI800 was the only diesel motorcycle I saw in production back when I was in high school, then they shut down in 2012. Well...the plans for them are up for grabs apparently.

the cdi800 is a CAR engine, not a motorcycle engine..

Royal Enfield had a 350cc diesel motorcycle back in the days
(german HATZ 1B30 engine iirc)
