the original Fiat 124 is actually a great car..
as is the original Fiat 500 (for very different reasons and purposes)
And a Fiat Dino spider (1969'ish) is a work of art in fact!
(~150k in hard cash if you want one nowadays)
That's what I meant.. every company no matter how badly received has likely had a car
I'd like to own myself
And then... Fiat Multipla... the ugly duckling of soccermom cars
bad in every possible way..
Oh noooo.. smarts was a good concept badly realized
the concept was a pure electrical four hub motor driven city car,
designed ONLY to use the least amount of parking space possible.
unfortunately the original designer (SWATCH) sold the concept and yeah..
It's ugly I admit (we call it an elephant's roller skate 'Elefantenrollschuh' )
But the idea behind it -in a crowded city with no parkingspace- was indeed smart;
Why a multiton SUV to haul a single butt from home to work
(usually less than 20mls around here)
when all you need is a TVChair with wheels?
Okay compensators for subpar testicular enduement
needs 600horses
to go 17mph for 20miles to work, but the rest doesn't
the Smart is one of the ugliest cars I've seen..
BUT the original FIAT 500 isn't any bigger really and it's a cutie.
(seen one with a Hayabusa 1.3l 160horse engine once.. jeez that can scare the heck out of some full grown cars

)
Putting the new GSX-R 1000 engine in one (205hp)
would make it one of the cars on my '
do want' list btw
