War isnt about profit specifically, like he is saying. But defense contractors, people who make tanks and guns and bullets do profit from war. Nobody can or will deny this, its a fact of life. And WW2 brought this country out of the great depression and provided alot of the infrastructure that we use today. That was all a by-product, a side effect.

He saying the goverment is profiting from stealing oil, I debunked that statement by showing figures of how much oil is acctually SOLD to the US.

I feel this is all just a waste of argument though, but its good to re-affirm FACTS, even if I am singing mostly to the choir.

6) What war is about profit? Our country is in incredible amounts of debt, billions of dollars. Quite possibly trillions. We're not making money from this. Vietnam wasn't about profit. Korea wasn't. WWII wasn't. WWI wasn't.

i Still think this is funny. Sadam was a great ally of the usa during the cold war years. The usa threw heaps of support his way during the Iran-Iraq war. If he was so bad why not get rid of him during/after the first gulf war? Yes you have 'dethroned' him and that is a good thing, but you also (along with the british) helped him/his party into power and helped keep him in power for many years.

It just dosnt add up if you ask me. Something fishy about the whole situation.


But at the end of the day i'd rather have the USA running the world than China or anybody else realy. Look at all the crazy **** the Brits, French, Germans, Japanese, Russians, Dutch, Belgians, Italians, Turks etc etc have done over the years. USA aint so bad/no worse than anybody else imo.

When the **** hits the fan, who does the world turn to? Who helps everyone and everybody when natural disasters strike? When somebody is infringing upon the free people of the world who steps in?

The USA is easy to blame and call a bully, but when the going gets tough, nobody has any problem letting us handle the problem for them and getting our hands dirty.

But did NZ enter the war to make a profit? No. This is what he was saying. "All wars a waged to make a profit." Wrong. There are side effects, like industries profitting, but not the country attacking. Sorry, but you missed the boat on this one Victa.

What is there to admit? That you believe an unconfirmed conspiracy theory as true? Yes. I'll admit that we have different opinions and that you believe a conspiracy theory as fact and will probably go to your grave defending it.

We aren't in the history books here. We're debating current events.
