Some eagle eyes will notice there's no provision for chain adjustment via axle slide. Eh. Ill make a tensioner some how.

This is how you use existing part right?

I see remnants of light baby blue on the bike; it portends of things to come. It's only fitting that it's baby blue to be in good company with Piglet. 😄
Hey now. Dont give me ideas. Ive already been told " his and hers"

I was thinking a root beer or what ever I can find at wally world paint.
I might change that when the seat gets here.
I was thinking of trying to keep the tank "chrome" maybe.

The pads are essentially gripping the teeth of the sprocket? Am I seeing that right? Interesting. I do like this idea, a lot.

Hey WTR,

Another/new project...love it
...& great explanation/write up :cheers2:

Unless I'ma seein' incorrectly
...it looks like there is a provision & hardware "for chain adjustment via axle slide" (kinda reverse of how its done-on motorcycles)

But, adjusting the axle/sprocket, would affect brake pad engagement
...&/so, you would probably have to add/install some rotor adjustment provisions ;)

EZ², yes the pads are gripping the root of the teeth.
And FA there is an axle slider adjustment on the frame. on both sides even!
The rotor depth engagement is quite small though. There also a few other minor clearance issues. I haven't thought about how to make the caliper adjustment with as much travel as the axle.
So for time being, im gonna lock the axle where it fits the caliper and work from there.
