My job-Racing. I'm handing in Applications right now for a new job. I had a good job at the winter rink untill around march when things started to melt. We found a machine shop about 5 minute drive from our house we might go check out.

This summer i might be the mechanic for my dads farm. Hes offering good pay, and half the time i can just mess around on his 22 acres in some beater cars and whatnot.

Network admin / service manager for an HVAC company. Boring most of the time, but it pays great, and I am mostly sitting in a comfy chair playing random computer games.

You mean you havent worked on your fathers farm untill now? Most of my freinds are farmers around here and they've been working pay or not since they where like 8.

Yea i did work on his farm from when i was like 5-7, splitting wood, weeding, picking, planting, tilling... But my parents split when i was 7, and i saw him half time till i was 10, then from 10-till now i only see him once a week, and he comes to my house (1 and a half hours away). Its kind of a long story, but now hes offering me pay to work on his machines for him. Plus i kind of want to rip apart some junk cars and mess around on them.

I've been working in a metal shop, right now, what we are mainly doing is building motorcycle brackets for the company that my boss runs. Although, we are starting to pick up more fab jobs and tools, and I've been trying to get some fab jobs here on the side as well.

I'm working for a property management company this summer. I do grounds, which basically means pick weeds, pick up dog sh!t and trash, mow, or whatever else the work order says. Not a bad job.

LOL. My friend was working at a machine shop earlier this year. Apparently he was having a smoke inside the CNC machine over lunchbreak and he got locked in. His boss walked up, saw him through the window, and kept walking. :roflol:

Wtf? Who the $%^ would start having a smoke in a CNC ANYTHING! If I saw him doing that I'd lock him in myself too. Maybe turn some coolant on while where at it. Might get a lil hot in there:) Typically most Mills dont have a locking door but you can set it so that the machine wont run with the door open. At the shop they have it turned off so they can see the machining.

currently i dont have a "real" job. i just mow lawns and occasionally fix ppls small engines and stuff for a few bucks lol

i just gave my "resume" (in quotations cause i dont have much worth mentioning on it lol) to a power sports place, hopefully i can work there part time atleast. lol

not quite sure what i want to do as far as a career yet, but i do enjoy small engines, maybe doing that? idk, lol
