Sooo...just to get started: a good rule of thumb would be 6" on each side outside the tube....so...42" however..I really think you need 48"....(offset to drive side) Ideally, only keyed on the ends and threaded. Yeah 3/4" would be a good axle....(it might have even been 5/8" originally) ....and basically...because of the proximity of the bearing to the sprocket and bearings to wheels...actually isn't bad. Typically, live axle hangars are further away from the wheels.
Sooo..That's a start...I could search for the parts, but I can't give you a link, and there are guys that are better than me at that....
You didn't answer my question as to how tall a tire you want in the back. 6" keyed hubs shouldn't be too hard to find....but it's gotta start with the axle....ideally...we can find a 3/4 and 5/8" .....then bearings......then hubs, wheels, sprocket, brakes and clutch.
