Thanks Guys!!
But after thinking about it for a bit...
I figured the start date for this contest was in April and well in April I was already into it and well under way so technically speaking do not meet the contest rules so...
There is always next year................

Spent most of the night cleaning and sanding parts. nothing exciting to report but I did get the shocks apart with a simple trick I just picked up sketchy but it works.. I'm gonna build a proper jig to reassemble them.

Ya it worked great!!
I would do it again any day on these little shocks now for any sizeable spring not so much. Poboy what fun is there in that and I thought this is a DIY environment I mean I could also bring them to the local shop and have them do it possibly for free as well but again DIY right. I would love to see a fail video too Landuse but your not gonna see that here LOL!
Having said that why am I building a proper jig well because I don't want to scratch the new paint and with the ratchet strap set up that's a given.

More on this tonight.

I love it. The paint is more important than bodily harm!

I have hurt myself while loosening ratchet straps under tension. When you release the tension the handle can pop back and smack your palm pretty hard. Man that hurt:roflol:

With all the parts cleaned up and painted I greased the bushings and got the front back together. I also got the steering column drilled and installed

Black with an orange/yellow stripe possibly but no red. I'm not really into the themed sorta deal like you know the "mystery machine" or "A-team" not for me but would look cool. Its just been done to death with full size Vans.
Thanks for checking it out.

It would be like telling vOOytas to paint a Zero One on the side and a Confederate flag on top ..........Totally takes away from the project I'm just saying....
