Ahh... i use those to hold the key in place n to limit its travel some. its a floating disk setup. The disk wobbles some to adjust itself for maximum grip from the caliper/shoes.

Gotta few things done on her... worked out bugs... any/all fixable 'drag'. Tightened everything and purdied her up. I tried the app test... but wasnt able to get it to 'test'... I cleaned up the TC, oiled necessary parts, fine torqued all nuts/bolts, and ground away any obstructions that hindered free flow movements... pretty sure Im alil faster now, compared to before. (atleast it feels like it):thumbsup:

Vid post later (after uploaded)...:popcorn::cornut:

On a norm they (rear tires) woulda slid... but due to that the pavement is/was "that day" fresh... yea... traction was NOT an issue...:lolgoku:.

Strongly contimplating getting some play sand and spreading it across the road for alil less traction... hehe... but none the less... yea shes got an awesome turning radius after the Ackermann was corrected.:thumbsup:

The guy that I ended up giving a kart to, for his kids, wanted to take my kart for a spin. He knew it was fast ... so this vid is the first stage of him getting used to the 'oomf'.

He's no virgin to motorized toys... and was very impressed at my build. He's wearing boots, in the vid, and isn't all that flexible, plus like I said, this is his first stages of him acclimating to the power... he doesnt even open up the engine to anywhere near it's potential... (he's not a drifter BTW... so any judging of his lack of skills is irrelevant :thumbsup:).

...on the other hand.. helmets are for the smart...

I agree and try to not condone no helmet riding... but I dont seem to remember wearing one myself until I see a cop or when the air is too cold to travel fast, which is evidently, too late then.

I have worked most all the bugs I could find on her and let another friend ride it today for 'topspeed' test runs. I tried to run Sid's app... but wasnt able to get it going... but I did get clocked at 51mph. Im finding wind resistance to be a drag... lol. :surrender:

Yesterday, I got the TC for the other kart. I swapped out the 9T for the 10T to give me a 4.5:1 ratio... not sure how much faster(if any) it is... but I do 'feel' it's faster. Mathematically its calculated for 53-58mph (probably closer to 53mph... if that).

...sure wish Sid's app worked on my phone...
