Tyty... I was thinking looks alil like Fab's(curb eater)...
LOL, yes, but to be honest they all look very much alike
at first glance.
But the AmEx has trailing arms ;)

The rear makes me wondering actually, never seen a Rupp without the bearing plates that are typical for a Rupp...

So maybe it's closer related to a Bug or Fox *shrugs*

yea I see what your speaking of... but honestly... Ill probably end up doin the same thing to mine... are you sure 'that' isnt an aftermarket, common fab?

Yes ;)

if it'd been aftermarket it wouldn't have been on at least a dozen "rotten" frames on ebay
(I searched to find me an A-Bone that I could afford... I can't ;))
And it wouldn't have been on the Ads
look closely on this Rupp Dart Ad..
$(KGrHqR,!mIE6B1fBU5OBOrzQzcm3!~~60_57.JPG
it's already there.

... I am gonna miss poppin heads off turtles at 100yds... sigh. BUT... daughter will have a nice kart. If all is good Ill be building this one up for hers to drive... being a live axle already and all.

Is it too late to get that rifle back? No self respecting slanty eyed redneck should be without an air rifle you can pop a turtle head with at 100 yrds. :lolgoku:Musta been a heel uva guud one or you are stretching yardage, truth or frequency (as in ....."one time I...". What was it you traded?

That's a RobRon Roustabout

It shares some of the same styling of the Rupp Karts because Robert Stanton Bought the tooling from Mickey Rupp in 1974. i visited him recentaly and he even has the turbine wheel molds but has no plan to reproduce them. it's a shame

A good find really, I think the sticker under the paint is a "Dokken" bumper sticker and ... why is it... that every single kart someone finds... is always so toed-out. It's like they just drove it over bricks and gave up.

I fixed up a Robron kart for my grandson last year. The label affixed to the kart said "Rocket Roadster". It has the same wheels, pedals, and steering wheel. Our frame had a single drive wheel. Our brake and sprocket were mounted outside the frame. The motor was a B&S 3HP built in 1987 so I guess the kart was built around that time. Your chassis looks a little more sophisticated than ours.
I used to be able to easily add pics but something has now made that complicated.

Well... Lastnite i got the motor on Priceline... Worked out a few bugs... ran it round... took it to the shop to work on the throttle. Needless to say I should have had someone sittin on the kart when I first tested it!!!

Today I saw what probably 99% of you will NEVER see!

Naw- Stuff like that all over the net. I think I saw it on America's dumbest criminals or some crap, two episodes of "Duck Dynasty", -"America's funniest home video out-takes, "Shawn White-the early years"...one episode of "Mythbusters" and some news footage of O.J.- wait...no that was a white Bronco- ....(sometimes I confuse mismanipulation of vehicles that winds up being funny and outwardly looks like nobody's home behind the wheel).:wai:g

Today I saw what probably 99% of you will NEVER see!!! First test, I was in the middle of the lot, as I started it(the main lot in my vids). After afew pulls, the motor started and took off rippin out of my grasp! Priceline, being a dead axle, pulled to the right n started to spin in place(at full throttle)! After about 10 seconds I came to realize I was playin spin the bottle w/ a 6.5 Honda, governor removed and cam probably retarded 'just' for speed, strapped to it! I caught a glimps of it threw all the smoke... it had managed to gain enough momentum that it was ONLY on the drive wheel, looked like a gyroscope. After about 60 seconds I was nolonger 'able' to visually 'see' the kart from the bellowing white smoke(both tires and motor)! As I stepped back I looked around n saw traffic had all but stopped on the main road, watching this roaring cloud of smoke drift their way(NO wind today)! After about the third minute the squealing changed pitch and the kart emerged from the cloud(luckily heading for the fence and not the traffic or any parked cars). Needless to say as I walked up on it smoke pouring off the tire n muffler... I swtched it off n decided to go buy a new motor!

:eek::eek::bannana::bannana::devil2: WHERE DO I FIND THE VIDEO!?!?!:stir::devil2::devil2:

OK, Back to the real; are you OK? No innocent bystanders wounded?
