Naw...Sammy kills snakes and runs off small German Shepherds....sooo....no contest there....I've about trained the snake/ bird killing out of him....but I'm letting the dog chasing alone for now.....until he catches and kills one!

BTW: There used to be a guy not far from here that had a lion in his backyard.....you should have seen his "play toys"!!!! People didn't believe me until I showed them. Also...used to be a mailbox on the lake road: "D.B.Cooper"....if I'm lying I'm dying!

BTW: Sammy has a knack for evading death! Probably one of his closest brushes was the day I couldn't find him....took off work....spent all day searching and calling for him....and at 4pm....he comes out from under the bed after a nice day long nap!!!!!!!....And right now...he's chowing down on my leftover Chorizo and eggs!!! That cat will eat ANYTHING!

Ohhhh.... Thought of another one! When I was around 7 years old the family cat did something to upset me....soooo...to "teach it a lesson "....I put it in the chest style deep freeze....and being 7....with the attention span of a fruit fly....proceeded to completely forget about that cat!!!!

Fortunately, 15 minutes later...I was still in the same place playing with toys and heard it crying...took out one very cold half frozen cat....I still have nightmares where I don't take it out!!!!

I guess it was a draw...that cat never did whatever it was (probably bite me) again
...and I never put it...(or another cat in a freezer!)....(Now microwave....that's a whole nother story! !!!!) JK!!!! No...REALLY....just kidding! !!!

This is as close as I can come: a cat we called "Mama cat". I opened a little shed one day and unknown to me...the back was rotted out and a feral cat bolted out of it, leaving behind two kittens I picked up and held in one hand.

The two kittens became pets...and lived long and happy lives. We tamed down momma cat and she became very affectionate....but would go absolutely berserk if you took her inside the house.

She disappeared one time in the middle of summer....I looked and called for her for several days....I could hear her crying, but couldn't locate her....I had a little shed that was almost all glass on the front, and I looked in there a couple of times but didn't see her. One day....I did...I opened the door and that cat took off like it's tail was on fire and I didn't see her for two days!

Now....It had be well above 120-130° in that shed in the afternoon....and no water...so IMHO....a miracle just for her to survive.

She came back and we all got back to normal....a year or so later....one day Mama was just gone....never found her...and no idea what happened to her.

EDIT: BTW: A funny story: My wife had taken to feeding Mama out by the pond....and she had put the cat food out and sat on the pool deck. Minutes later....she hears "crunch crunch".... looks down at her feet...and a young possum is chowing down at her feet on that cat food!

What...No broads??

What...No broads??

What? The ex doesn't qualify?

Here's another little story: About 11:30 pm one night many years back, an armadillo was walking across my backyard. I caught it and made a cage for it. I buried a tote in the ground and had a lidded box on top of that with a hole in the side and a fairly roomy hardware cloth and wooden cage. If I would build another one...I'd bury the tote a little deeper as he struggled a little bit in mid-summer to get cool.

We named him Tater and fed him canned dog food. His favorite snack was Canadian nightcrawlers. His second favorites were Junebugs and snails.

Anyway, after a few weeks, I knew he had acclimated to the hole he made under that box as his home, so we started letting him out. If he got scared he would run back to his cage. I thought I had the backyard escape proof but I missed one thing! We had had him for probably a year when one day he got spooked and I think I was between him and the cage and ran the other way and got under a shed. I knew immediately that was it, he had a new home!

But he wasn't going anywhere....he liked that free dog food, and especially those Canadian nightcrawlers. So he would go into his cage in the evenings....ever vigilant that nobody snuck up on him to shut the door. We always hand fed him the nightcrawlers, and we would go to the shed and call him and he would come out to get them. My wife would pet him....which he could have cared less about , but put up with it to get those nightcrawlers!

He was a lot of fun!

We actually don't know what happened to Tater, he disappeared.

A few days before he disappeared, we let the dogs out and didn't know he was out in the backyard. Tater made a mad dash for the shed and ran smack into a 4×6 beam that was about 4' long. He moved it about 8"....I couldn't move that with my foot....I had to pick it up to move it...and he hit it with his head!

He seemed to be fine though and was snacking on worms that night! Then a day or two later, we had a very heavy rainfall and it made a river that ran under the shed. So, he may have drowned in his sleep.

Or he could have just run off with a crazy broad !!!!

Well...ever since the Cancer treatment, I can't eat very spicy food anymore, but I still crave it...so, I've pretty much figured out how to make all that stuff without the heat but still have the flavor.

Soooo....I grow 'Fooled You' jalapenos, but I eat a lot of peppers and last years are gone and I don't even have the plants in the ground for this years crop. Sooo, I buy whole green jalapenos, cut the stem end off, slice them in half lengthwise, and scrape out all the seeds and white membrane with a spoon. After pickling, the heat level is usually in my tolerance range.

Anyway, rubber gloves are highly recommended for this operation. I didn't have any handy last night. These jalapenos are scaring me..(they might still be too hot)...they smell really strong, as a matter of fact Sammy came in ,took a wiff on the way to his food bowl, (not close, just the kitchen air)....and wanted back out!

Sooo....I washed my hands with GoJo, followed by dishwashing soap. I needed to pee, so I wisely sat down for that. I didn't think anything about it when I picked my nose!!!! And I rubbed my eyes! !!! Then woke up from a nap and went to pee half groggy and didn't even think about it!!!!!

I still have more peppers to do....I GOTTA get some gloves! :lolgoku:

  It looks like the main body is an aluminum extrusion??? What does the venturi look like???

It may be hard to see in these pics...But the venturi is basically a very slow taper. The body does appear to be a machined aluminum extrusion. It also appears the bore was threaded, and the venturi screws in pretty much like some shotgun chokes....(again...maybe hard to see in the pics).... but a slot in the top and bottom of the tube that is the venturi....

There is a screw in the bottom of the bowl....(not adjustable...and horizontal) ...behind that screw is a spring with a plastic piston cap????

The emulsion tube has an O-ring...(that was totally shot) ....if I can find one in my assortment that I think will work...I'll give it a try.

Otherwise, found a carb on Amazon for less than $20....I'll just go that route!

Of course ....you wouldn't know....you ALWAYS sit down! !!! And why would you ever use gloves standing up????? (Seems like it would just make using tweezers harder for you?????)

Once...I made the mistake of spurting out I needed to find my come along to pee....and 3 crazy broads followed me into the restroom!
