OK....since I decided to keep this little ( not really..."young" rat.)
Anyway, she...( Gracie) ..is one curious hyper critter. Soooo....as I have her in my lap...I kinda letting her roam a bit.
I have pajama pants on with just one button,(you can actually get "in and out" without opening that fly.)
When Gracie stuck her head in there, I kinda lost it....( not from fear). But that's just dadgum funny!

Nothing that dramatic, she just took a peek. Nice to know I can't impress a small rat....
Then again...I had a female dog hang around for 25 years.
BTW: She now works for a local storage facility, and we both need storage, so we may share.

Tuesday morning@ 3:30 am, I saw lightning flashes off to the east. I opened the front door to check what was happening, and my cat ran in.
Off to my left, I saw something crawling up the handrail. I thought: " That's either a HUGE rat or a small possum. I turned on the porch light and saw the cutest little baby possum. Couldn't have been away from mama a couple of days.
I went to grab my phone, and when I got back, it wasn't there.
.......but I found it.....

Cool. They are good to have around. They eat ticks!
When I was young dad brought a wing home to work on. It had been removed and sat in the junk yard prior. He went to start peeling the skin off and a momma possum and her litter had taken up residence in the wing and we're quite mad about their new home being repaired.
That was one mean mama! Had to call animal control for relocation cause we weren't gonna get close.
