OK! So I got my twitching lures in the mail this morning....I can't wait to go fishing!

These look good! I guarantee you I could catch fish on them without even charging them! I really like the blue/black back one. I also noticed the other has a topwater/shallow/ deep runner option with the multiple attachment points!

TOO COOL! I'm already twitching!

If you look closely, you'll see a nipple on the bottom....you plug in a jumper to a USB port to charge the battery.

When the lure hits the water...it flashes a light...and vibrates...(hence "Twitching lure".)

You do know lures are designed to catch fisherman....not fish, right?

Don't get it twisted....I'm Poboy....remember? Those lures cost me $30. But I've been around the block a time or two....and there's one specific lake I bought these for. I'm tempted to take the hooks off... because basically, I think the fish are just buried up in cattails so deep I can't get to them....and just locating them would be all I'd need.....

But....what they do...WILL enhance their ability to catch....errr...lure fish! I have seriously caught tons of fish! One day alone...I estimate well over 100lbs. of largemouth bass in a day. Crappie? Many, many 20-30lb strings easy....don't get me started on catfish...200lbs. in a day.....and white bass....well...I don't have enough fingers and toes.

EDIT: Notice I said :"estimate" on the largemouth? While "strings" on the crappie? It's because I released all the largemouth, while the crappie and catfish are what I kept....(which doesn't include what I released! )

Double Edit: I remember being on Spring break..and my reel malfunctioned...so...not having enough money for a Zebco 33...I bought a 202....at the end of the day....the gears were totally stripped out from catching sandies (white bass). So I scrounge up enough money for another....yep
..good for one day! The third day....I'm thinking....dang! Coulda bought a 33! ...as I bought another 202....but hey! When you can go catch a hundred + fish with the money in your pocket....or wait????

I just heard hail...I hope it stays small....this storm has been producing. ping pong ball sized hail just west of me!

Sammy sometimes braves the downpours...but he doesn't do hail....He came running out from under my truck and hit the bottom step to the porch ....and his feet went out from under him....and he almost slid completely across the step and off of it. lol.

Hmmm...Public television is running a show on storm chasers in tornado alley....how appropriate...we dodged the bullet here again....nothing more than high winds, lightning, a torrential downpour and marble sized hail.

Yesterday East Texas was hammered by large hail and a couple of tornadoes.

There were reports of ping pong sized hail....but I haven't seen if it hit populated areas or not west of here.

Well...not having cable....a lot of what I get to watch is old shows....So, been seeing a few episodes of '21 Jump Street'...(a show I never watched in first run....and am not too crazy about seeing these days.)

Well....you know how you hear people on the radio and you envision what they look like, and then you see them and they don't look anything like you thought?

Well...with the Jump Street theme song...I could totally envision Holly Robinson as the singer. I finally decided to research it....expecting to see a young black girl....but was surprised to find out it actually WAS Holly!

That's the useless Poboy trivia for the day!

Of course....I could totally envision Chuck Norris singing??? (don't know if that applys) the 'Walker Texas Ranger' theme song! But it sucked....Holly belted out some stuff!

Yeah...I haven't had that big an appetite either...because the new fish are really coming in fast....and they're really dumb .....so...I could just chew them up and spit them out....but I'm having fun watching them jumping and going nowhere.....

And if they make it upstream....they won't be around long anyway.

BTW: I'm thinking about replacing the 2.0 split port 4cylinder in my 2002 Ford Escort with 2 stroked out modified 460's....Might have to throw cement bags in the back to keep it level....I know..crazy right? ?? But that's ok....because I wanna go 250 mph.
