What's really crazy is I think Sammy is going to spend the night with me....he used to be deathly afraid of tents....

Right now....it's looking like all the severe weather is going to bypass us....but I haven't checked the forecast....

But....yeah...even the cats are crazy in Texas!!!!!

I tried to bring Sammy in the tent with me and he freaked out!!!!! I might have well have tried to bring a raccoon in with me.....

Then....at 3:30 in the morning , I feel something crawling in a my feet....(I leave a small corner open....just in case he wants to come in )......and here's Sammy....ready to snuggle up to my chest and nap for a couple of hours....

The night was uneventful weather wise, and beautiful....got up around 6:30.... went in for a little while , .....then busted down the tent and got it put away 15 minutes before it started raining here.....

Yep....not many lions outside of zoos here in Texas.....(not counting Mountain lions) ....but neither pose a problem in my backyard......

"Tall" tale liars are pretty prevalent here, tho......

EDIT: (Although....they usually knock on the front door.....wanting to sell you something, .....or sit on barstools .....)

Yep....and ordered in pizza.....(from Italy!)....

I lie everyday.....usually around bedtime! !!!!

But....no...I said Texas was full of them....(but I'm not one).....and my life is crazy enough I don't need to embellish the truth whatsoever.....

Well....I think they're dead....that's a start....(they usually are when you eat them!)

They don't seem to be doing well....something about the way I'm keeping them has put them in survival mode....

Gonna drown them and see how many are still alive....and not just shells stuck on the side of the cage....

Then try some different things....It really is tougher than you would think to raise these things in captivity....

Well....some are and some aren't....about a dozen of mine were....point is....they shouldn't be doing that this time of year....I'm doing something wrong.....

Eating them usually gets that done!!!!

Keep in mind.....these are not common ordinary snails....while indigenous to the region....and native....they are far from common....

And...as I already stated.....(and you can check this out on Google....)

The French have not figured out how to raise Helix snails in captivity.....they are endangered in the wild....but they are addicted to them.....

If a man could perfect domestically raising these snails.....he would become a millionaire overnight.....

Don't take my word for it.....Google it up!!!!!

Sooooo......Think about it.....if a country more in love with snails....than America is with "french fries" (how ironic) .....is facing the fact that their most favored food is now an endangered species.....a man with a solution..would become rich overnight!!

Well.....I recently have......

Just realized my two personal threads have been viewed like 13,000 times.....but nobody's saying much.......

They're all sitting back like watching a Charlie Manson trail.....just waiting for my slow Bronco to run out of gas.....waiting for the day I snap.....WAIT.....waiting for the day the authorities catch up with the guy that snapped a long time ago.....

Can those figures really be right?
