So I've been out running a couple of errands....Last couple of weeks. ...I've started collecting cans....been going fairly well so far. .....I'm still fine tuning where and where to go....but it's almost worth it. ...and I can also say I'm helping the environment. .....

So I just make stops along the way. ...don't drive more than 50' out of the way....made 3 or 4 today.....

One was a dumpster where I work....where I got the clubs and the coolest putter ever. ....it has a label on the shaft that says "for one foot putts"....lol...I also found some cash in the golf bag.....

The aluminum horseshoe was in a trash can at a mega-convience gas station as were the full beers......

So....I have a few places I go....the nearby park where aircraft workers drink beer on their lunch hour....30 cans out of 3 55 gal drums once....the boat ramp....40 there once.....and then Racetracks, Circle K's, ect.....usually good for 20-40 cans.....

Anyway. ....yeah....I'm digging in the trash......next step is to line up a dozen beer drinking drunks and get them to save cans for me........

Some days you feel like playing. ....others you just want to kick back and catch some tunes on the radio. .......but every day is a good day for napping! !!!!

Invented a new dish...vegetarian tacos......really easy....and ...of course. ....cheap!!!!!

This is only going to work for a small few...but here goes. .....

First. ....you have to have an Aldi to shop at. .....pick up a can of 'Casa Mamita Southwestern Bean Salad'.....put it in a blender and puree.....

Put it in a saucepan and cook until burned and then 2 minutes less.... (old culinary joke. ....means at the very edge of burned.....).....so what you want is to thicken up the slop until it is thick enough for a taco filling. .......

That's it!!!!!!.....Put in a taco shell with a slice of cheap sliced cheese..... (the cheap stuff is made from oil......so....still vegetarian. ..lol....)

ENJOY!!!!!! It's actually pretty good. .....and no hot sauce needed....

Actually. ....I figured it out....the side with the driver's license has a mirror.....this was a woman's golf bag.....so it's a wallet....so she could take her ID and a little cash and leave the big purse and wallet in a locker or the car trunk.........

OK..... GUYS...what a deal. I was just re-firing my smoker..... (put some branchy peach limbs in there.......)

They werent really catching. ...so I decided to help them along....enter carburetor cleaner and dispoable lighter......yes...worked like a charm....except it also gave my arm hairs a trim.....and I guess. ...could have been worse.......

Anyway. ..a much bigger backflash than I expected....aand while all I lost was just a little hair....goes to show how in just a split second. ... you can do something stupid that can screw up your life forever......

So....any of you kids that think the fire challenge is cool....just DONT!!!!!!.... please. .....really...it's the stupidest thing ever. ....

Fire hurts....fire is fast....and you are better off messing around with Poboy th an that....and that aint fun either......

You know. ....I'm growing a bit weary of the whole racial crap thing. ....

When I was in high school. ...it was the first year of integration. ..and they bussed in a bunch of black kids.....they travelled in packs..... (wouldn't you??)

But they took over the basketball courts.... and wouldn't let any white boys in their games. ...until they met "Cowboy".....that's the moniker they gave me....but Poboy....and my buddy....were the only white boys allowed on the court......because we were cool....and very good at the game. ....

Still. ...there was a double standard. ....there was two words we couldn't say....and one of them was used almost constantly on the court....amongst themselves...."N...please"....."You aint nothin N" ...."bring it N"...."not today N".....

I made the mistake of using it once.....and was immediately put in "my place".....of course. ....the other one was boy.....which they used on each other on rare occasions. ......and I get it. ...they belong to a club you have to be born into....and no way any peckerwood could ever know what it's like.....

But. ...recently. ...a black kid was shot by a white cop....So.....we have widespread rioting and cop cars being burned. .....

Now this is where I don't get it. ......WTF????... This gives you a liscence to steal and commit mayhem? ??? Maybe this was an unjustified shooting. .....maybe not....but what makes these igno's think that it gives them the right to destroy other people's business' and property. .....

And are these people so stupid.... (never mind. ...they are.. ) that they think a guy would go through all the training. ....take up a job that puts their lives in jeopardy daily....just so they can kill a black kid??????

Anytime a white man kills a black.....it's a hate crime.......but when blacks kill whites.....or decimate their businesses. ...it's not??????

Crap......just went out and checked the smoker.....miscalculated the amount of wood last night. ...so the 15 lbs of meat needs just a tiny bit more cooking.....in Texas BBQ terms.....that means 2 or 3 hours....

So....that.....coupled with the fact that there is always more to do than I can fit in a weekend....means I'm taking off work today.....

I have found that, in this day & age, the more racist individuals are the minority...

Over here (as in many countries) we have mostly muslim arabs literally taking over the country; the majority white population have to change our ways/laws/traditions because they don't like it; what ever happened to "when in Rome..."?

Last christmas, the muslim community started jumping up & down about people saying "merry christmas" to them because "it's offensive"; my word on that was "if you don't like it, go home!" One smart alec then went & spraypainted "Merry Christmas" on the walls of the biggest mosque in Sydney

Now, let me just say, I am in no way racist; I attended one of the most multicultural high schools in the 80's, we had multicultural day every year & some of my friends were Asian, hispanic, arab & european; I have no problem at all with immigrants, people who come to our country for a better life & are willing to adapt to our way of living & help build & support the country; I have a MASSIVE problem with those who threaten my very existence by insisting we change our way of life to suit them...

One thing that is very hard to understand to outsiders like myself is the relationship and current situation with the indigenous people in Australia.

Obviously in some ways it echoes that of Americans and our natives.....they were simply overrun by technology. ....(and...cough....cough....white folk)????????
