it was a **** of a lot diffferant
the south african apartheid was a copy of the white australia policy watered down

we basically treid to bead them out

its a very wide topic
on one hand u still have tribes living in the desert in a full hunter gatherer way
then u have the ones that are integrated into average society

unfortunatly they are by nature a quite lazy group
unlike most cultures there not much push to better yourself or to be the best

and drink is a huge problem as is petrol sniffing
enough that the government is starting to ban drink in remote community
and if petrol is even for sale its opel fuel
most outback towns only sell diesel

as some know theres a huge mining boom in western australia
its slowing now but at its height it saw a welder or mechanic pulling 3k a week easy
and a machine operator could be on 2k
if u when under ground theres anougther pay rise

these mines are mostly deep in the desert (where these people are)
and for public relations reasons (and to acheive government support )
these companys try to hire the aborigonals
working in the industry they are quite hard to deal with
oftern dont care and dont want to be there even though they are on a huge pay rate and theres a huge line of whites trying to get the job

there are of course quite a few that are completly normal
and i have a few freinds who get really upset at the stigma they have
not at the whites that create it it but the people who are acting in a way for us to think they way we do

they as far as we see normal
finished school and went to uni or did a trade and now work

but they say a huge problem they had to overcome first was the generational shift
grandparents were drunk most of the time and lived on welfare (the dole)
their parents were the same the whole time they were at school
to get where they are was an effort that was 100% by them selves
no parent support
and in one case hes the only child not in prison

this is there biggest issue

once they achieve a complete shift they are usually set to raise thir children properly and so on
which unfortunately the white Australia policy did achieve slightly
but destroyed way to may lives to be called any kind of success

one of the biggest minning magnates andrew forrest was asked to make rekomendations on the issue

forrest is a station (big farm) kid that went to school with my dad
he grew up with aboriginals
http://www.smh.com.au/federal-polit...-in-indigenous-employment-20140731-3cx9d.html

he puts it quite well

oh and u are unaware
the bloke in the video is our prime minister
like the president but a differant system

Well, we've been asked to re-read the rules that clearly state "no politics, no religion" (in bold!)

So, I'll make this my last reply on any of the two (for a while :D):
I have found that, in this day & age, the more racist individuals are the minority...

Over here (as in many countries) we have mostly muslim arabs literally taking over the country; the majority white population have to change our ways/laws/traditions because they don't like it; what ever happened to "when in Rome..."?

Last christmas, the muslim community started jumping up & down about people saying "merry christmas" to them because "it's offensive"....

While that is very true for SOME immigrants, it's not true for ALL...
Last year around here there was a big debate if a christian festivity around here (St. Martins day - which is basically a non costume version of helloween in the end with more lanterns)
had to be renamed to remove the catholic background of it.
btw that discussion was started by a catholic woman,
feminist vegetarian. (yeah that kind...)
And since it's the children that are affected most Kindergartens did (even some catholic ones)
And the ONLY person that had the nuts to call it BS in front of a camera was a muslim mother of a muslim boy,
that basically said the same thing ('when in rome...').
as little as she want to change her religion, she wants others to change theirs.
She wanted his boy to learn about christian festivities,
since for her it was important to know and respect those.
And -she said- her son liked that fest, with all the lanterns and lights, the fire in the evening and of course all the candy ;)
But the most important point she made IMHO was this:
"How can I ask to respect my religion, when I do not respect other people's religion?!"

Last christmas, the muslim community started jumping up & down about people saying "merry christmas" to them because "it's offensive"; my word on that was "if you don't like it, go home!" One smart alec then went & spraypainted "Merry Christmas" on the walls of the biggest mosque in Sydney

Now, let me just say, I am in no way racist; I attended one of the most multicultural high schools in the 80's, we had multicultural day every year & some of my friends were Asian, hispanic, arab & european; I have no problem at all with immigrants, people who come to our country for a better life & are willing to adapt to our way of living & help build & support the country; I have a MASSIVE problem with those who threaten my very existence by insisting we change our way of life to suit them...
:iagree:
Brothers and sisters, can I get an Amen?.......... :lolgoku:

I'm making corned beef and cabbage tonight. .....'Poboy way'......I have a chunk of corned beef that's about 3"×3"× 1 1/2".....and a cabbage. ..

I bought a very small corned beef brisket and cut it up into pieces that size...so I can make this dish on the cheap.......several times. .....

Anyway. ...just like I've been know to make a "pot roast" with one onion, one celery stalk, one potato, a small steak and 4lbs. of carrots.....I don't just do it because it's cheap. ......I REALLY like the carrots.....and can't get enough. ...so why not just adjust the proportions?

So.....I really like the cabbage and horseradish. ..so why put in any more expensive corned beef than necessary?????? I also add pickling spice....and I have actually just boiled cabbage with pickling spice and ate it with horseradish sauce and it was almost as good. .......

Whoa....Uh oh...uh oh...uh oh.....

I'm waking up. ...to ash and dust....
I pizzed my bed and my azz has crust....

I'm breeding in the cockroaches......uuuuuu....cough....

(refrain)......

I'm breaking down. ....screwing up...1/2 step away from a prison bus.....
This is it: I'm full of it...:lolgoku:

I'm wakin up....and these old bones....creak and make me move so slow.....

Welcome to the old age. ...Welcome to the old age. ...to the old age. ...

Uh oh...uh oh...uh ho....but I'm still. .......radical active.....radical active! !!!
(end refrain)

I raise my flag.....drop my clothes.....
It's another ban now I suppose. ....
I'm a pain...but I fit right in. .....
(Refrain)

All symptoms show........the brain has been fried.....nothing left- but air inside!!!!!!
(Refrain)...:wai:

A 50 gallon gas hot water heater. .. (natural gas)....supposedly 5 yrs old. ...both working .....out of a remodel...

:roflol: :funnypost: :stir: Based on your post's in a couple of other thread's, I think I'm seeing a new problem you need to address Doug. Maybe Jim can help you as well; are there any chapters of "Grillers Anonymous" in your area?

"Hi. My name is Doug.....". :devil2: :devil2: :stir:

Yeah. ...we tried to get a chapter going. ..but all the sites were booked up for smart-azzed machinist conventions......and they were booked up years in advance.......

Seems like there's no shortage of smart-aleck machinists....

However..we found many nearly empty venues...when we searched for competent and polite machinists....

Go figure. .....:lolgoku:

Well....I guess you could call this pushing the envelope. ......

Had some dove in the refrigerator. ...about a week now.....so I decided to clean them today......yes....you heard right. ....they were whole.....

Now. ...as I was cleaning them....the meat was almost falling off the bone......very tender....but the nose test told me these birds were still edible......

Done it many times. ....but usually no more than 4 days......not only does the meat become more tender....but also more flavorful. .....

But here comes pushing the envelope. ....I put some salt n pepper....red wine and vinegar. ....in a baggie with them.....for a few more days. ....

At that point. ....a sniff test is useless. ...it's strictly gastronomic Russian roulette. .....but I think it's going to be good. ....if not. ...nice knowing y'all! !!!!
