Weird stuff going on here.... Some pretty predictable, some not.

I went to buy my snake some small rats, and one was nicely coloured. I raised mice for a while, and they were colored mice.

I raised the really interesting ones from pups. They made REALLY good pets. This black and white didn't show much pet potential.

Unfortunately, it seems Oscar is not in a feeding mood, as she's killed one rat and left it laying, and layed an egg.

To answer both questions:

I'm Poboy....Kentucky Gentleman. As for the egg; about the stupidest question ever....

Oscar has spent her whole life away from other snakes, so the eggs are infertile.

Ok there's 2 near identical looking Bourbon's: Kentucky Gentleman and Kentucky Tavern (? I think). One of the 2 has "flavoring added", and consumed in marginal excess will cause adverse hallucinations. I know from 1st hand experience. Lesson: avoid.

Sugar Cube dosed in Bitters (Angostura and Orange if you have it) then dropped into the bottom of a rocks glass and muddled with the tiniest splash of soda water. Muddle until the sugar is dissolved. Give it a few stirs after. Fill glass halfway with large ice cubes. Add 1 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Stir 20 -30 times. Top off glass with ice. Add 1 more oz of Bourbon. Sir 20 more times.Top with Ice again. Add a third oz of whiskey and stir again if you desire. Squeeze an orange zest (no pith) over a flame and onto the the drink. Like fireworks of flavor. Rim the glass with the zest and drop it in the drink.

Enjoy the perfect Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail.
Who likes Rye Whiskey anyway?

Happy Mother's Day.

Sound like a lot of work for that drink there.
Not knocking it but I prefer,
Crushed ice in a large cup, 6oz or so of Bacardi clear and a 12 oz coke on top.

One of my two favorite drinks to make.

The rum and coke and the jack and coke.

You'll have to drink your huge drink really fast. The small ice will melt quickly, diluting the drink. Plus I can't leagaly serve anybody a double triple drink. I could get sued. Not sure what they'd take. My Gokart?

The old fashioned is supposed to be sipped. It is served in a less than perfect form and gets better as you sip it, some people like muddled orange wheel and cherry. It is served with a swizzle stick so the customer can stir and muddle as they sip. 2-3 minutes in, the drink is perfect and only then starts to decline. Like a bell curve of sinusoidal journey of flavor. I like the idea that you are getting something that is going to get better, instead of immediately starting to decline as soon as you get it (like the women I talk to).

A good bourbon should be sipped straight and savored, like a fine cigar. A cheap bourbon should be drowned in ginger ale and ice. Whiskey should be left alone.

Actually, I prefer a good single malt lowland Scotch. I can't afford the $100 + per fifth.

And I actually only drink bourbon occasionally. I drink Busch beer, and I need to quit it....I'm not getting any younger, and my body can't handle it like it used to.

I like shots of Jameson with a pickle brine back. It's kind of a hipster trend in Chicago now (along with PBR cans) but I love pickle juice!!

Your ok in my book. Don't have to get so defensive. I'm a 3 year sober Chicagoan myself. :surrender:

And I once drank a bottle of goldschlagger. I don't remember much......don't know why I don't like fireball.....

I think I would go sober too if i had to drink alcoholic pickle juice! I'll go drink now so i don't remember reading about this pickle.

medori sour. Thats my killer and ever clear! I don't remember much of those two nights. somehow i made it into a bed and into my birthday suit.

I like to start with a couple to long islands then move to whatever beer is available. i cant drink beer to get drunk anymore. fill up too fast. you would think getting as big as i am i would be able to hold more beer inside me before it wants to come back out. :cheers2:
