yea its all going to be double shear but the shop i got the tabs from shorted me one link tab, so when i go back to get the pan hard bar and tabs for that ill be grabbing another lower link tab

Sounds good!

After seeing how fast that thing could go, I doubt you would want the front end to fold up!

double shear means there is a braket eather side of the attacted part
as apposed to just bolting it to one bracket
it is stronger than single

like
bracket ] heim joint [ bracket

a pan hard bar holds the axle in place, stops it moving side to side

don't have much of an update on the truck but all the transmission and transfer case mounts are done and in place, went and picked up some temporary tires for it today, theyre not ags but as close as you can get after i groove them:thumbsup:

33x14x15 boggers, im grooving every other lug, got the rear two done, tomorrow should have the fronts done. i really like the way it sits with these tires on it. and the truck now sits 5' 1" to the top of the cab:wai:

i also heard back from the dot investigator and he emailed me a list of everything i will need to make it road legal, its actually a much shorter list than what i anticipated. if anyone wants to know ill post up everything to make a vehicle road legal in iowa.

i got all the driveshafts made and installed aswell as all 3 shifters. camera is being a pos so these are phone pics, also put all the body panels back on and some headlights.

I don't know of many places with BIG rocks, but lots of mud spots. The river by me is pretty low, you could drive it in there :)

i do have the build posted on pirate4x4 in the suzuki forums and in the forums on an iowa 4x4 site called miobi. im aiming to get as much attention with this thing as possible as im looking into building them to sell if there is enough interest out there.

gearing will not be an issue with this rig, it has two transmissions:D
