Ok, I have installed a TAV2 on my small lightweight off road kart. Everything lines up, and the clutch is fairly simple.
Upon stop, I can sense the nearly 3x reduction from a standard Centrifugal clutch, but once I start to go (with trottle wide open), it quickly goes to it's max ratio, and I can hear the engine step down. I actually think it may be accelrating slower than a standard clutch.
I think this may have to do with the "green" spring on the driven pulley. Is there a good reference for tunning this CVT?
