Easy way to see if your clutch is slipping is to load it up.
Start in second, change into second, get to about 2.5-3k rpm and then change into fourth or fifth. Once the clutch is released you'll notice the car will rev out, but no increase in acceleration.
I know when I replace my clutch in my S14 Silvia, I needed to adjust the clutch pedal. It was a heavy duty clutch thou. To check, make sure there is 15-20mm play in the pedal before the clutch begins to disengage.
If the clutch pedal has the free play and the clutch still slips, it would suggest the friction disk or the pressure plate are shagged.
Just make sure you check all the basics first, which I assume you have.
Did you buy a brand new pressure plate and friction disk?
