redsox , I had someone post that they used the Dupont White Lithium Grease W/Teflon Fluropolymer have you or anyone else used that stuff ??

Here's what I use. It's at least 2x my age old, I'm guessing around 35-40 years old. It came in a 1lb can not measured by volume.

I use to have something like that, it was some real nasty vaseline but I got rid of it back in high school when i rubbed it all over the seats in the girls bathroom

boy did I get in trouble for that one. but it was sooo funny

reminds me of this year when i put butter packets under all the toilet seats in school and waited in the bathroom...

Hahaha! The maturity level (or lack there of) of this forum is appalling. I feel right at home.

But ya, that grease is nasty yet effective. I'm not touching it just the bearings and spindles so IDC. Although I did see, unfortunately, a kid in my metal tech class scoop axle grease out of a 5gal bucket with two of his fingers and eat it. He proceeded to fly to the front of the shop and empty the contents of his innards into a trash can. It was hilarious.

I used permatex white lithium grease before and it seems to work nicely

does that come in a spray also? that Dupont White Lithium Grease comes in a spray can. I think that is the ONLY way it comes ....strange...

nope... ive used full silicon lube in a can thats about it...

ha , I thought that vid would be good for this forum; considering we use them in our stuff. speeking of slingshots I remember I use to go down to the railroad tracks and walk them for these pellets that were the coolest size. they would fall out of the cars.I think they were raw iron for the manufacturing of steel that were being transported up to Canida...... I think.
