The joke was my plan itself.

Just fooling, though I expect such a gadget could be made and have the additional benefit of being expensive, finicky, and only marginally beneficial.

Multi length intakes are already a thing. They use butterfly valves to switch from a long runner at low rpm to a shorter one at higher rpm.
Yes , finicky and prone to carbon fouling from egr systems.

You've probably heard of variable valve timing. This is how manufacturers have dealt with the torque/HP curve. As RPMs increase, oil pressure retards the cam timing, using a computer controlled solenoid, to keep the intake valve open longer - increasing HP. There is also some overlap as this happens if it's a dual cam setup and the increased flow through also helps.

Guess we're not going to get that on these single cylinder puppies. But an idea I am thinking about is to change the intake rocker to a 1.3 rocker while keeping the exhaust at 1:1.

Im curious as to the gains on that. Make a new thread and post your findings.

Your not changing duration, just opening the valve a little more. The overlap wouldn't change so theres no scavaging benefits.
Maybe a slower intake velocity. Miniscule.

I've begun design work on a telescoping intake manifold that will start out long and get shorter as RPMs increase.

Here you go. It’s even ribbed for her pleas... I mean the accordion provides turbulence so's to atomize the A/F mixture better, or whatever the concept is.
