I'm liovin those tires bro. and the engine to kart makes the kart look as you sayid pretty small...im thinking of making the "X" of the fame go farther to the rear and kinda split the frame and make it a suspension. any input?

I can see the size ratio from the engine. ur right it is some wat small. and i love those tires too....im thinking of putting the "X" of the frame a little further back and cutting the frame in half and connecting it back together with a suspension.....any input?

If I could make it again, I would incorporate a swing arm for its simplicity and dampening effects. The tires were a lucky strike, all four for $35. The rears have little tread but they're all air tight. 18x8.5-8. The guy had them on a golf kart but he lifted it, tossed in a sled engine, and put on 24" quad tires. It was one beautiful cart.

Build the frame, then attach a swing arm to its @$$. It'll be nice and roomy and not crazy long cause the swing arm doesn't need to be that big. With those tires on mine, I have 9" of ground clearance up front (the lowest) excluding the sprocket and rotor. The frame is simple to build and welding a few spindle brackets and a shock mount/ seat back arm would not be difficult at all.

So do I. I just like the look. Mudders would be nice but they're so expensive and not made for anything but mud. Maybe some sand?

p.s. idk what 95 percent new means (used valve stems? lol)

Not a chance. I went to see Jack@ss 3D, which is hilarious, and that about ran my wallet dry. But I get get $25 in backed grass cutting money. I want a job but I need to get my license and withdraw from the bank for a car first. And I get way too much school work. I tried to be a class picking hero last year and take 4 ap classes. It was the stupidest choice ever.

ok guys for my suspension idea....i was thinking of cutting the frame in half with the x pulled towards the rear and cut it at the meeting point and weld on two pillow blocks to either side, connect them with a jack shaft....weld the seat bracket as far back as possible and conect two northern tool shocks(or any kind) and connect them to the seat post and the rear frame....think itd work?

I would build the frame as designed. It's very strong, and short. Then weld two spindle brackets to the rear of it and whip up a swing arm and bolt that the the rear of the frame. Make a seat back frame and put on tabs for mounting the shocks. The plans do not include a chain guard but I guess that is a custom type of part. I'm making mine tomorrow from 1/8" plate and bolting it to the main frame.

It's not my project. I built the frame as the plans say and the swing arm is my suggestion to imbo. If I were to build the Black Widow frame again, above is how I'd do it.
