If I had shopped smart? 300 tops. I didn't look for a parts kart or anything and I spent some money getting a dead end motor into what I thought would have been running condition. If you get a parts kart, or even a running one then use its parts to make it your own, it can be done reasonably. Or really bargain hunt and trade your junk for their junk and you both get treasure. I'm currently fixing up an old Montgomery Ward compressor to try to sell/trade cause it's just taking up space. Bargain hunt and the price will be right.

haha guys.....well i do have a parts kart....my old shifter....i stilll am waiting on my steel and once i get that i just need some big a** tires two spindles and the shocks....ill be set....oncei have everything im gunna make a video log of it and put it onthis thread for you guys....thanks for your input saved me alot of time...and hopefully money

do you think the diy spindles would work with this kart....the stickyed ones
They probably would. I would probably make my own if I were to need them again. They are simple really. A big bolt, some thick tubing, and heavy band iron. I would probably reinforce the homemade c-brackets if you do make them.

ok, so its been kinda slow lately so the steel should be here by say....Thursday. I will be adding around another foot of length to the frame, the suspension idea is being tossed up right now so thats still to be discussed. I am busy with crew and work alot so i might be a little slow to make updates. Be Back soon

heres a link to my kart which will be used as a parts kart....it uses a 68 tooth rear so top speed aint much. My black widow will be a 53 hopefully
