Workin' on gettin' the 3-wheel brake system installed ;)
SAM_2648 (1).JPG
Got the master cylinder mounted
SAM_2650 (1).JPG
Had ta adjust (1) of the brake likes to clear the chassis
SAM_2654 (1).JPG
Got the front calipers installed
* First, I got a "feel" for how easy the kart rolled, by hand
...then, after installing each caliper, I gave 'er a "test roll" to see if I noticed any additional drag
...& I'm happy to report, I didn't notice any additional drag :sifone:
SAM_2656 (1).JPG
Got the rear caliper installed, as well
SAM_2666 (1).JPG
I'd say a couple of systems checks
...& she's about "ready to rock" :auto:

System check
First, checked for continuity & voltage level at the battery pack...yup ;)
SAM_2637 (1).JPG
Then, "connected 'er up
...but, with the system not connected to the speed controller...yet
SAM_2638 (1).JPG
Next, I checked for continuity & voltage level back at the SC connector
First with the circuit breaker in the "Off" position...nope, no voltage present (see pic)
Then, with the breaker in the "On" position...yup  (sorry no pic)
SAM_2639 (1).JPG
Then, "flipped" the "On/Off" switch to the "On" position
SAM_2643 (1).JPG
The system came "on line" :wai:
...& the power meter "says" that we have ~55V in the battery pack (currently at storage charge level, needs ta be fully charged)

That video was not all that interesting. Sorry man, but you’re no Cecil B. DeMill. I was hoping it would be something interesting it was going to be of something with more drama. Like you squeezing into the kart. One question though, where does the big red triangle go for the power button? Now get out and charge it up and try it out!

Hey Denny,

Sorry, I can't "flip" every kart for ya
...& no drama entering &/or exiting the c*ck pit either :innocent:

"where does the big red triangle go for the power button?"

The red triangle will "go", on the outside of the body
...just below where the CB is mounted

There will be a "pull string" attached to the lever of the CB
...that when "pulled" will de-activate (turn off) the CB thus "killing the power" ;)

See, I knew if I jabbered enough
...you'all would (accidentally) learn about "this" stuff
