I'm out in a fish house for the Jaycee's ice fishing tournament.
Catch anything?

This happened, also i got the little 125 swapped four wheeler to brap to life today
Id send it

I fabricobbled the most minty PC sound system to ever be possibly constructed.
It features victor mouse traps for volume control, NOS eclipse EA1412 mini car stereo amplifer, old school, purchased for $12 five years ago,
pot recycled from some old PC speakers, vintage radio shack 12v power supply, bought $2 garage sale several years prior. Hooked to a solid state relay I had for years, coupled to the usb port of the computer, so when the PC is powered up, it switches on the power supply/speakers automatically. That's what in the blue outlet box. Only sacrificed an extension cord and USB cable. Long as the confuser gets shut down, it's not left on. Max lazy. Realistic/ radio shack bookshelf speakers from the 70s-80s pulled from the bin completes the experience, replaced the 8in drivers with buyout/clearance specials. Goes full send.

Only thing I caught was more irritability lol.

so over the summer I got this little earthquake rototiller and kind of did not do anything with it. well yesterday I fired up the engine( four stroke) and well it has the loudest rod nock ever! I think the PO did not add oil, because there was none when I got it.

i plan on giving the coleman a good wash paint job and getting the tire to not leak i might have to go to the tire shop

I would break the tire down off the rim and clean up any corrosion then get a bead sealant in case it is corroded. One of the uses car photographers we had a couple years ago, had me break down the rear tire on a DB30 he was selling because it was leaking. Turned out it was just a rusty wheel along the bead. Cleaned it up and sealed it with bead sealer. Held air just fine. Other wise if its dry rotted, I'd replace both tires.

Freshly rebuilt, and took them both for a spin...
Right one is a Parilla TT75 reed induction, left one is a Comer 350V rotary valve induction. Both run a 50mm stroke, with 49.89 and 50mm bore. Both are running 2,2mm BTDC timing, and HL360 carbies.

The test drive went... Well, compared to the old Parilla TG14 i used, these are meant to kill you 🤣IMG_20210206_185442.jpg

Nice! Just don’t waste the 20 or so running hours you have between rebuilds! :roflol:
At least, that’s how it is with the KA100s at the track, is it the same with those two?

For track days, yea. But, il drop the gearing to like, 7:1 or so to drop the RPM, and i run 5% mix to get some more life out of them.

Have a few quick videos of em driving, but should get a proper helmet and cam.

Have this one to work on still, and if things go good, i will probably use it as a base for a minibike buildoff this year. IMG_20210110_135008.jpg
EDIT: Didnt forget about the turbo honda project, just that it fell behind on the priority list a bit.. Should have updates this weekend.

Considering the two engines above will do 20000RPM+ for short periods... Yea its 20-25h if you want to maintain peak performance.. Pistons are 50€ a pop, but things get expensive when rebuilds are needed. I can get away with just a bore and hone to next piston size if the crank remains in spec.

The engine on the pic above is a Parilla TT65, also a reed induction engine, but with an unusually long stroke of 54.5mm (compared to 50mm for the other two) so, it doesnt like to rev as high.

Current plan is to bore out to 54mm to accept a 125cc IAME Leopard piston. With the 54.5mm stroke, that gives 124,89cc, which with some porting and a poper pipe setup with a 32mm slide carb, it wont be a screamer, but should be real nice for a minibike.

Only 20 hours between rebuilds? That gets expensive fast regardless if it's a 2 stroke.
It's pretty much a rule of 20 it would seem :roflol:
20+ HP
20K RPM
20 hours between rebuilds

:roflol:

All out performance like that doesn't come cheap, but I can tell ya those KA100s at the track BOOGIE. I mean sure the LO206s are fast, but man the KAs were BOOKING.

found my yerfdogs spare belt in a random box in my basement, put it on and drifted my yerfdog around my back yard. and made a tiny ice race track i wanted to race my JD and craftsman mower against eachother on the track because it would be fun, but had no gas in either one.

I'm not familiar with these engines so excuse me for my ignorance
