If you have a chance to go outside for a bit during a lunch break and catch some sun light, that might help you a bit.

Well this sucks. Need to get our Mountaineer moved off company property by this weekend otherwise they'll have it towed. Really contemplating a new career field or a different dealership since they are the ones that blew up the engine in the vehicle.

Humans called "snow-birds" fly south in the winter. Just sayin'.

Nope, they're called "Winter Texans".

And there was a time when we never had internet at all. Or when all we had was dial-up and you needed a modem. Remember the noises it made when you connected?? How did we cope?

I also remember before mobile phones came to South Africa. If you needed to make a call you had to find a landline!! And we survived too :D

Move to Texas. Same **** climate, but we have "Smartphones ".

Hardy har har. Anywho, had the old Mountaineer towed to the apartment. Irony was when it was put on a jump pack, it started right up, and would drive under it's own power without dying. Yet 6 months ago it would just instantly die. Welp time to put it up on Craigslist and get it out of our hair.

Well this is today's highlight. Brand new and it got damaged between Canada and the dealership. More than likely on the train it was being shipped on.

Just bought a 2009 SUV. Front bumper has boogers on it from "bumping" stuff. Back bumper is clean.....guess those back- up alert systems work.

Ugh!! I hope that wasn't yours
I hate mini vans. Nope not mine. We were doing a Pre-delivery Inspection. Basically take all the plastic coverings off, take it out of ship mode, lift it up and check for any missing parts or bad parts, take it on a 10 mile test drive and put it on the lot to be sold. Which is completely backwards compared to other dealerships. They leave all the covers on, until the vehicle has been sold, then take it out of ship mode and do the 10 mile loop. But our General Manager wants it done his way.

When I worked at a dealer the cars were P.D.I ed right as they came off of the truck. It is stupid and dangerous not to do the inspections as the car came in. Salesmen were instructed not to even show cars that had not gone through the process yet. Too much liability if someone got into an accident with a car that had not been checked out yet. Plus you can just wash and deliver the car, no need to worry about it having to go through PDI first.

I guess it varies from dealer to dealer. PDIs are especially important with some of the things we have found. Found a new JL Wrangler 2.0L turbo with an exhaust leak, the EGR was not hooked up properly. Found a couple vehicles that would leak water from the window trim.

I won't go down the rabbit hole. But I just love the lack of communication from doctors and pharmacists about prescriptions being sent to one place and them not having it, so they send it elsewhere and they don't have that. No one called saying anything. I swear most problems could be prevented if people would communicate what they need to.

In other news, how is everyone surviving the polar vortex? Not to brag, but it was sunny and mid 60s over the weekend...I washed my car in shorts. Today was over 72* and I was sweating when I went outside lol.

We did get the eye drop medication, just had to go all over creation for them. Far as the polar vortex? Eh, dealt with worse. What sucked was having to jump start lot rot in the cold...morons don't start vehicles up and the battery is dead from sitting for months. The worst was the 6.7 Cummins and the 3.0 EcoDiesels...cold hearted pigs. I got to work with no issue.
