I enjoy popping in the old Battlefront games, especially the first one. I enjoy the first person view in the vehicles, that was left out of BFII. The DICE BattleFront games are a joke. Didn't buy them. One thing I've disliked about the older version is, once you get over 200 kills, your kill counter gets spun back to zero.

What stuff did you get?

So far, I got the auto darkening hood, flame retardant welding jacket, and leather welding gloves, all from Northern Tool, since it's the cheapest I could find and has great reviews across all the websites I can find.

Then probably this weekend, I'm going to get the welder itself, a Century FC-90 FCAW, plus a roll of Lincoln wire.

From the looks of it I'll have to get the angle grinder on my own dime, the welding stuff is late birthday presents, but I'll still need an angle grinder to fix some of the stuff on my frame.

Kartorbust - Yeah, but for some reason BF1 loads slower on my computer, and I much prefer the heroes in BF2, which is really fun! Plus the Ep. 3 content like the Mustafar map makes it all complete!

It's always been a slow loading game, on original xbox, 360, and Xbox one. I don't think it was optimized very well back then. You playing it from Steam or did you get the physical discs?

That's the one great thing about Fallout or the Elder Scrolls games, you can sink hundreds or more hours into it, just doing side stuff or messing around. While on my days off, mostly on Monday evenings, I'd watch a stream of Daggerfall with the Unity mod. Kind of want to get the game and install the mod, but waiting on getting a decent gaming PC before I do that. Sucks that most PCs and laptops don't even come with a CD/DVD drive. I'm not the biggest fan of downloading games.

I thought that was quite the rip off back in the day when Steam started taking off..Gathered steam, so to speak... with the whole half-life 2 Valve thing....I buy a disc, then I download the game.... and I have it for life on any computer I later download it onto then??
Ya I wasnt impressed...

I do see the convenience of an online store like that... but I did like the journey to the game store and the whole anticipation of getting a new game, was pretty cool...
Now not so much...

Same thing with the whole new Fallout '76. Im however still holding out for a complete dedicated single player version or addition to that.. I did spend $125 on the season pass and early release play....maybe have 1.5hrs now...I haven even been bothered to check or look back it... im just so put off of it...

Budget - If you like Minecraft, try playing Terraria, it's WAY better! There's some seriously advanced crafting available, lots of difficult bosses, dozens of biomes, and it's hard! It's actually got a point and a storyline(ish) as opposed to Minecraft.

For a while, I thought a multiplayer Fallout game would be fun, but then it would be like RuneScape or World of Warcraft, but in the Fallout universe. Not so much a great idea and it was poorly executed.

The only benefit for Steam is, generally decent mod support for a lot of games with the Steam Workshop and the fact that the older games from the 1990s and 2000s on legacy OS, can now be easily played on modern machines. Need more Linux supported games since I'll probably just on that system at some point.

A while ago I bought a game from the steam that was from the early 90's on my parents at the time 386, called Darklands.
Kinda Rpg but isometric almost DnD but no magic or the like, needed a book with a codes within it for authenticity(the early copyright protection)... I have the book and the computer with the game on it still....
That was some good times there.. man I played that alot.....

Ehh, but Minecraft just gets too repetitive for me, especially with the lack of enemy armies to fight, bosses, and firearms. And I've even built floating bedrock pyramids flowing with lava, so I've tried to keep it interesting! With Terraria, there's always some sort of challenge.

I have not played terraria myself, but I played minecraft in the OG days, on a Pentium 4, rough times, and years after. It is heavily updated as time goes on. And there is alot you can do, like automatic farms, redstone logic, ect. But no hate, just never got into it.

Got me a new grass cutter, this thing is fancy, way nicer than the 42in craftsman I was using. The foot control hydro drive is fantastic, you can keep a firm hold on your beverage the entire cut!

Got a deal on it, but it needs headgaskets. No biggie, typical courage. In my hands it should last for years to come.

Too bad the cruise control only works when the tractor is at top speed. Or at least that is the case on my dad 1999 Cub Cadet. Makes it kind of useless in my opinion if you cannot go at a normal speed with the deck going to use cruise control.

I have not tried it, not very useful in my yard. But im happy with it, not having to empty the bagger several times.
