Nice bumper!
Id be tempted to weld some rail road spikes to it... be kinda mean looking haha.

Ill have to look when I have more time, its a 7 speed but it looks aweful wimpy compared to what on the craftsman and lawnchief. Looks like a 3/4in axle while the other is about 1in.

There is another where this came from, if my cousins arnt interested I might be able to get it but it looks like the same 7 speed transaxle.

2nd pic is what i have in mind for the exhaust pipe for the twin. I dont even know what they are from, found one here and the other in ohio whats the cnahces they were the same. Exciting. :D
3rd is what I might use for fron suspension, Ill take some pieces out so its not so stiff. I think it will work.

The last 2 pics are of the lawnchief and craftsman transaxles. They look much beefier. They look about the same, but one is a 4 speed and the other a 6 I think.

Dang it! Your making me have second thoughts about putting my twin in my kart, beginning to think that I should have left it in the tractor.

EDIT: Last pic B.M.800, looks kinda tiny.

EDIT#2: I like the idea for a leaf sprung front end, it'll probably look like a gasser.

I think its about the same as the one next to it, cept its a 4 speed.
Thats probably what Ill use, that ought to be easier than using the big coil springs I have. It should look good with a twin with some mean looking exhaust and a fancy air scoop. :D

Top left.

Oh, thats the 7 speed. Looks wimpy dont it?

LOL- Well- I certainly am discovering how much fun you can have with OTHER forms of OPE...

Seriously. Who needs a 4 wheeler when you have a lawn mower. Heck man, I was having all kinds of fun on our rear engin rider stock lol. :roflol:

Got the deck hung up on t massive grape vine though. That sucked lol

If you was closer Ide gladly give you one of them things. Or if we came through your neighborhood when we go fishin up there.

I recon something like that ought to easy enough to find though. I think even from a car or truck some of those might work. Wouldnt be too hard to cut them to size.

{EDIT} I should ask though, what should I be looking for to tell if it is a peerless transaxle? Will it say peerless on there?

Using a leaf spring for front suspension, you should be able to get parts/ideas from a Golf Cart. I know they use a single spring stretched between the front wheels.

I take donations... :D

Yes- the tag should ID it as a Peerless, if it is.

I want to comment on your rear end, but I couldn't think of anything to say that wasn't wildly inappropriate, so I'll just have to leave it to your imagination.

You pay shipping? :roflol:
I have an uncle up there, he bought a cowl for a bout motor, It was cheaper for him to ship it to our house then ship it to him rather than having it shipped strait to him. I dunno lol.

Ill have to take a look t'nite when I get home. I remember it being discussed on here, but I didnt remember if it would say peerless on there or not. Wouldnt that be cool to find one....

{EDIT} Well at any rate, the 6 speed lawnchief says Foote, and it looks the same as the craftsman, just maybe they left out some gears?

It's possible. I know Peerless unit fairly well, and it is very common for a model to be available in different configurations. For example, the 700 is available from the factory with 2-5 speeds. Or the 600, which is available as a standard model, or one with much lower ratios.

If you've got a Peerless 820, we're in business... ;)

So- to recap. "No more tractors!!!" followed by, "I want to keep it". She's a good wife...

Nothing beats a good tractor except an understanding wife! My wife likes runnin my tractor too. Her only complaint; its too slow.
