On Saturdays everyone goes away for a while to drink and cry in a dark corner. We’ll be back by Monday.
Damn man I feel that deeply hole class of fellas like us out there.. I pray for you brotha. Don't let this life an it's struggles be in vain when it's all over. Stay/grow closer to God with every struggle along the way.

Nobody is ghosting you. Believe it or not, most of us here have lives and families that do not revolve around your go kart. I dug out a predator owners manual and took some pictures of the carburetor mounting section. I hope they come through large enough and clear enough to help you get your carb back on correctly.

Only one of them uploaded. My tablet then told me it doesn't have enough memory to do any more. If you were to Google predators owners manual, that schematic is on page 21. Clearly shows the sequence and positioning of the gaskets.

Only thing I can't help but wonder when I took the side plate off an was pulling on the bearing there was obviously good bit of movement in the crank. I know it all snugs back when the side cover is reinstall. Ain't no kinda tolerance or something that could have threw off right?? Or if per say my valve lash was off would running ok half throttle but not full throttle be a thing? Like I say now it's different befor it ran perfectly first 5 an the like **** at any throttle now it's popping as soon as I crank an go over half throttle but never actually cuts off like befor after heating up

I've been running .003 on intake and exhaust it ran like that befor I messed with any upgrades but I see some folks saying intake .004 to .006 an exhaust .006 to .008 so gonna go with .005 an 007 an see what she does I'll be back an let ya know if there's a difference

Ok so between setting my lash to .005 an .007 I also dropped my coil gap back to .035 it's running better with mostly no spudder but I can tell it's not as fast... an also a big think I noticed was on the pavement "smooth road" I get no spudder but as I hit bumps on my dirt road it really kicks the shuddering back in. Thoughts anyone?

Have you disconnected the low oil sensor?

I appreciate the response tho! But yeah man there ain't bud handful of things to check an I have checked them all. Feeling hopeless with this thing.
Hmm. I'll spitball and see if anything sticks. Float needle moving smoothly? Spark plug wire good? Spark plug good? This really sounds like a fuel issue to me. Fuel lines clogged? All the jets clean?

Correct me if I'm wrong there is only the idle jet on top of the carb an then the one under the emulsion tube right? It's crazy I've actually lost speed not exactly sure what could have caused it but when I first put the flywheel on "when it ran good for 5 min" I got 35 mph out of it an could feel my acceleration an top end was better. Now it's no where near where it was although it runs good as long as I'm on smooth road it still doesn't have the power Like it originally did.

And another thing to think about I didn't try it befor the modifications. But if you fully choke the engine it should cut off right? Because I forgot to put the kill switch wire that goes to the key on when I put the flywheel cover back on. An I was like well let me choke it out. It definitely lowered rpm but never cut off. An I just checked seals they are all good.. no where else that could cause a air leak right?

Is this a predator 212? I believe there is only those two jets, look at Pancho's diagram. Most engines do cut off when you choke them.

No I guess you would call it a clone. It's identical tho just no oil sensor on it. An right so definitely air getting in. But there is only two gaskets behind the carb an there brand new.
But if it was per say a air leak wouldn't it run ruff no matter what? The hole running smooth on the road throws my head in a loop.

It’s only two possible things right?, as far as engine cuts off after a few minutes.

I won’t go back into #1.

Number 2 is that the fuel bowl is running dry. Like gas cap not venting, clogged lines, dirty filter, …

Try some tests. When it cuts off, turn off a working fuel cut off valve….

check for spark…
check if fuel is in bowl…

if no spark… that is issue…
If no fuel in bowl that is the issue.

assuming gaskets are good, carb is working, gas cap is venting, filter is not clogged, lines are not clogged, float needle jet not clogged,…
