I worked everyday (yes 7 days a week) for a whole summer doing roofing for 10 dollars an hour and spent made 7500 dollars last year and i found a car for 8500 and had to go back to michigan 3 months ago to get the extra money for the car.

How was I supposed to know this? Good on you for actually paying for it yourself. I'm just sick and tired of seeing all the little rich kids at my school that have a brand new car that their parents forked over for, spoiled rotten brats. Honestly, being able to say you paid for a nice car yourself is much more to brag about.

roofing is hard work. 10 dollars per hour is not enough. If you have something nice, there is a good change that someone will give you crap about what you have, because in reality their parents will not buy them anything better. Its funny how the kids that give you crap about stuff, usually have never had a job, or have worked very little. I hope you're proud of it, you have a nice car there, and it seems you've definately earned it yourself, and honestly, too

Digging this thread back up, forgot to post my truck with a bunch of work done: new roofskin, Bronco seats, bedliner'd and rust patched floor, random whatnot.

My blue Camry has a FORD horn in it and a semi functional dome light, try and top that!

Don't forget it has the 4 cylinder 5S-FE engine that makes a uncontrollable 120 HP! Perhaps more due to the "corossion ported" OEM muffler. I also have installed performance wheel arch sealant, which gives me increase aerodynamics when combined with Duplicolor spray paint.


I don't think DOW has a fender formulation for great stuff yet, so I used window and door.

Hers doesn't have a 2.7 V6, so no, i haven't. I'd rather not deal with such a small V6 anyway....

Here's a stratus a buddy and me did for a girl....$1.50 racing stripes,$10 FEAR THIS sticker, 5 finger discount Dodge sticker, two miles of running for the wing (off a pontiac GTP) and a nice cherry bomb red tire warmer.

LOL, you guys can get away with so much in the states. If I was caught with side exiting exhaust then I'd be up for a $500+ fine.


Nice stripes crazycart, here's mine:

3.3L straight 6, warm cam, extractors, fuel injected, 150hp and enough noise to wake the dead. Now has side exit exhaust, and picking up a new battery.

How much did it cost me? $58. Looking at possibly selling it for $600. Mmmmmmmmmm.
