Does anyone know the difference between the starter for a 460 Ford and a 300 straight 6 Ford motor? We used a ballsy high torque 460 starter on my truck (mounted right on) but it doesn't disengage from the flywheel after it starts, so it keeps grinding away. We tried disconnecting the power after starting and it keeps going, so it isn't the ignition sticking. Any help?

is the spring to week? u gotta remember a 460 is more powerfull then a straight 6.

Power shouldn't have anything to do with it, the 460 motors that the starter is for are compressors that only fire on one bank and make about 40-80 HP.

As long as that Dodge doesn't have a grapefruit launcher exhaust and 8 foot tall spoiler, it actually looks pretty nice (for a Dodge haha). The stock wheels look pretty good on there.

The Gaytona...filter mounting is temporary. Just threw it on there for the hell of it. I'm gunna run a 45* bend off the TB and mount an offset hoodscoop....

I hate spoilers, I'm running a high end line that cherry bomb puts out forget the name of it and its nice and deep for being a 2.0l.
I'm gonna split it to a dual and maybe run straight exhaust once I fix the rear bumper.

And you have no idea what i went threw to get that car.
I worked everyday (yes 7 days a week) for a whole summer doing roofing for 10 dollars an hour and spent made 7500 dollars last year and i found a car for 8500 and had to go back to michigan 3 months ago to get the extra money for the car.
