I see a top end to some 100cc dirt bike, the head appears to be stripped, maybe polished, the jug is painted some red-orange color and appears to be ported.

No spark plug?

Fyi the head is black and the fin ends are polished.

Anyway, on almost ever bike there is a exhaust port and a ______ port. Fill in the blank

It isn't a reed engine, its rotary valve. I didn't say it was special, i said there is something different about that cylinder, no intake port. Just trying to see who would notice.

Nope that's wax. My dad is a dental technician and he has a workshop downstairs.

I lapped ( more like smoothed) the head with a sanding type disc in a drill. It just polished it and removed the dirt.

Got to ride it around today, there was definitely more power. In the mid range you can really notice when the power comes on. It isn't too substantial, but its better than before. It wanted to pull up the front tire, but couldn't because it would just spin on the snow. Its still not 100% yet, its got a leaky exhaust, and the head was leaking. My plug insert also broke. Otherwise i'm quite pleased with the results. BTW, i feel pretty lonely in this thread :(

C'mon, post whorz! :roflol:

looks good man, $50 is a steal, i would put that engine in a kart, that would be fun. I just bought a '87 suzuki dr 100 for 50 bucks, runs great the engine was rebuilt a year ago and the bike has been babied. I got it from my friends dad, he let me know i was getting a good deal haha, he made sure i know he payed $80 for the o-ring chain alone.
