Lol i know..lighten up a little...and yeah i was talking to him about doing some porting, boring, and an expansion pipe..it would still take more than that to outrun me though..but hes going to sell it now i guess.

I am actually thinking about trying "Hydroforming" to make an expansion pipe for this thing..or i may just weld up a sectional..we'll see.

Just a pocket bike pipe will make one pull in the high 40s. There are bore kits but they are really rare. IIRC they are chain driven so one could be easily regeared.

Well yesterday we went on a little trip...dad rode the dirtbike lol...he said it started bogging while he was going, and died, fired up again while he was still rolling, then died again. We towed it home with the 250r..Its got spark, flywheel key is good, timing is good, and i can spray gas in the carb etc but it wont even pop. Piston is fine also has good compression...any ideas?

Sounds like bottom end, when the piston hits BDC does it make a sharp POP?

Makes no irregular sounds, i cant find anything that would be wrong.Every things in good condition I highly doubt it would be the bottom end.

Hey Crazycart, we stopped by a junkyard today that we'd never been to, just to check it out, and they had a Red Honda ATC just like yours sitting there. I don't know if it was for sale or what, the front tire was flat and it had a few other things that looked damaged or needed some work, but was otherwise in tact. For some reason I thought those things were smaller, but they're actually quite big!

Took off topend (what a PITA) The cyl. is cast iron and about 10lbs and was rusted to the studs...so it took some beating. It looks like the rings a broken, partially seized, but the bore is good, can still see the cross hatching. Im gunna order some rings, and port it out while the cyl is off.

Yeah its fun bike, its not very powerful at all, but its so small compared to my other ones it makes it fun. Its good for cruising down the road also. I just hope the rings is my only problem.

OK, i got working on this. I ported the sh!t out of it, lapped the head, and am ready to paint it. I have a few choices but cant decide. I can either paint the head red and the cylinder black or, the cylinder red and the head black. Which one??? After its painted i'm going to grind down the edges of the fins to a shine.

Nope, its pretty major...Hint, the second pic is the front side of the cyl(pointing towards front wheel) and the last pic is the back.
