i was less fortunate and fired up an oldie with bare wires..... that stuf stinks!

We've got rodents out here in Arizona that like to feast on automotive wiring too. I used to work at an auto electric shop and probably repaired a hundred rodent damaged wiring harnesses over the years. Most of our customers auto-policy/Comprehensive insurance ended up paying for the repairs.

175,000 miles on the engine and i figured out its not the origional radiator. lol the origonal is bigger then the on in there now thats why the farmer i got it from used a no smoking sign to hold the radiator on ahaha.

wow thats some good mileage from a truck in the 70's, my 1999 dodge ram 1500 pushing 150k right now lol, I say its time for a rebuild and a new thread for me :)

My boss has a 2000 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 motor, it's got over 350,000 miles and still going strong, original trans too. The only major repairs so far were replacing the bearing in the differential and an AC compressor,

Last year mice got into our brand new camper and decided to chew some wires, But nothing else in the camper was chewed. Cost almost $300 in repairs, Little buggers!

Its good just ran it twice today im trying to keep it running and go through all the crappy *** gas, i think im going to sea foam the engine one of these days. And if it wasnt raining i would have the fender off and the dent knocked out of it. i tryed one of them pull hammer things that you drill a hole and pull and it has a weight on it but the fenders to thick of steel to pop the dent out.
