Kartless....
Like a BMW boxer engine motorcycle, being forced air cooled and due to the expense and difficulty in making it shaft drive, I would keep it the way it is.
Did you build the whole thing for him? How much did you charge? I think it comes down to 2 things...
1. How much do you miss it?
2. Could you build it again cheaper & better?
I would buy it back, you could always strip it if you wanted. You can't buy all those parts you would get off it for less then $150.
I had a car that I sold to a buddy in perfect shape, just droped a motor in it, all it needed was paint. Used the money to buy another car just like it, but with a beat motor and a new paint (go figure) for alot less then I sold mine for. 3 months go by and my buddy wraped it around a tree, sold it back to me for $200... Swaped the motor, trans & rear and it was like the old one again, lol. About 2 years ago I sold it off to another guy that called me a few weeks back wondering if I would buy it back again... cars like a bad penny, lol
)Well, We're good friends, I told him I'd help him build it as long as he paid for it.
Grand total was about 350, and thats including all the cheap broken wheels we went through lol. It has a few small problems now, Runs good, needs paint, But I could get it and make it perfect. Its a fast little bike. Its a good solid bike ( cause I built it of course!)
Hes doesnt know much about this stuff, So he always does stuff like leave it on its side and have to replace the filter and fill the oil, So he's finding it a hassle have, I think oil is the biggest problem for him, Dont know why. He's messed it up like 3 times because oil lol.
Save it from him before he kills it!
It can't be the dumbest purchase you'll ever make, lol
what sort of wheels did you use?

Cool....I plan on modifying the fake fuel tank that came on the bicycle to make it a real tank this weekend.
