C'mon now. They are too ez. Pop the 1st 1 off with a screw driver. Pull the weights out, turn over and pop the other off. Put 1 spring on, turn over, pop back on, then put the other on.
When you put it that way.....I left the weights in the whole time. 🙄🤦‍♂️

No no no. I hope you didn't stretch em. That makes em less rpm stall. Are they both white??? Can't tell from pic

I rolled the top one on. The bottom one is the only one I stretched to get on. And even then it was just enough to latch.

Yes. The actual springs aren't white though. They just sprayed a little white paint on them.

Yea, they jus roll on there.
Jus try it and see. It's still gonna move, jus might not stall up at 3100. You might like the way they work out. Mark that old 1 that got streched so you dont grap it by accident.

Did you find a long enough bolt to hold the driver on??

I was thinking you rolled that spring over the pins, but you put it on and then latched it together. If that's the case, you will be fine, they will stretch that much when working.

Yep, that's how I did it. I just used some needle nose and hook to unlatch/re-latch it.

I did. I went to Lowes and stocked up on screws/lock nuts/washers since I may need to get creative when I mount the motor and riser plate. I.e. some screws may be able to pass all the way through the 2" tube and some may need to bolt just through the top of it. I won't know for sure until I can line up the sprockets.

You don't need needle nose.
Latch it together and roll it on. Do the inside one 1st, put the weights back in, and roll the other 1 on. Ez pz.

I've made a lock to hold that driver bolt. A clutch don't have any side to side pressure. There's a bunch of pressure on that bolt when the tav starts shifting. The last 1 that came off on me, had been on there for months then all of a sudden it flew apart. Left a nice fat bruise on my thigh and bits of plastic in my boot.

I had a kid and his dad over here last year for a brake band for his gokart. I put it on for him, he rode up and down the hill, done some donuts, then it flew apart. Dad said it had been on there for over a year and never had a problem.
It's up to you.
What kind of lock? I had planned to put some blue threadlock on it.

Interesting. So you're pressing a part of the washer against the cover? The large washer (uncut) wouldn't stop it, if something came lose?
No. You have to cut the fender washer so you have a small tab that gets pushed into keyway, then use a bigger tab to grab the head of the bolt, not allowing it to move. The washer is there for a reference.
I don't have any made, havnt had anybody need em yet this year. Most people around here , already has them, lol.

20230406_134219.jpgLook here and you will see the small tab is bent into the keyway in the black thrush washer. There's 3 more tabs, 1 is bend over the bolt so it doesn't back out. The other 2 flat tabs are there for extra tabs to be used when needed.

So by slipping it into the keyway, it's essentially impossible for it to back itself back out?

I had misread. I thought you were bending the tab onto the outside of the disk, not onto the bolt.
If I get a chance, I'll cut 1 so you can see better. The washer only has to be as big as the thrush washer. I jus had that big 1 handy at the time.

That black button looking end piece is not really a thrush washer, idk what's it called. But, I know what I'm talking about,.... even if nobody else does 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
