New member here! Been following this forum for a while and now need some help. I have a carter with a Tecumseh 6hp engine. Was having a bunch of issues that were all carb related. Cleaned it spotless, replaced the worn throttle cable, and she's purring now... At least until you floor it. It takes right off then Boggs way down then speeds up again and and Boggs again and over and over. I discovered that the little shaft coming out of the engine that hooks to the throttle arm is turning back on its own. Is something internally causing this to not stay at full throttle?? Even with the pedal fully depressed it still wants to constantly throttle up and down. I'm stumped. The engine is the OHH60. Thanks in advance.
