Keep Austin Weird
I already flipped the bearings over and pointed the unbolted end downward. Im having a friend of mine who works at a fab shop make me some 1/4" thick straps to bolt it into the bottom hole of the hanger.
Man up and remove the rubber fuel line you have there. The vibrations wont be that bad if the motor was balanced properly. The vibrations wont kill ya, but now they will probably kill the chain and sprockets.
I could not agree more.Man up and remove the rubber fuel line
That's cool.

ok, first start today yielded black smoke and fuel flooded engine. obviously the pump can push the float bowl down and introduce more fuel into the carb. while it was running fuel was flowing out of the carb like a hose. this is a powerful little pump. looks like i need a restrictor of some sort so it dosent put too much fuel in the engine, or a return line system. which might be easier.
