meh. i'm going something i know a decent good bit about.
Honda Prelude with H22a1 motor. standard transmission all the way. i just love having control of my vehicle. first time i ever drove a lightly modified one i was in love. well it had a shephard transmission with ACT clutch borla exhaust and CAI,maybe thats what cause the love. 0-60 in 4.5seconds mmmmmmm. My grandfather wouldn't let me get it(meaning he wouldnt buy it for me)because it was basically a "sleeper"(racecar that doesnt look like one until you look under the hood and listen to the upgrade list) this was like 5 years ago. but now i have a job i can buy whatever but it will not be anywhere near the amazing price that car was..$1500 .
anyways..
camshafts arent that expensive for being real car camshafts but downside is i will need to buy TWO of them to get the most out of it,y'know being DOHC and all. but i think i will turbo it first since it handles 6 psi on stock internals and will upgrade to forged rods and then pistons and boost a 3pounds more. the sleeves will be a wallet killer but after sleeving i can do anything i want to the engine such as getting an ECU,boosting more and tuning air fuel ratios with a wideband and much more.Who knew it would be so easy yet so expensive? too bad its FWD but it has its own type of handling advantages.
oh, and i got the job eviscerating chickens and doing shoulder cuts,whoooooo. i can make over $20 an hour doing this. crazy eh?

Congratulations on the job....be forewarned however, butchering animals is much more messy than butchering karts ....

EDIT: I don't follow Prelude forums....but have Preludes...Big A$$ exhaust pipes and revving like crazy....while hoverrounds are taking them off the line....
May be the folks at Honda saw this coming....and named it "Prelude".... because the real disaster was coming!
But it's all good....now he can cobble up larger vehicles...let's just skip the middle man ...and link him to semi tractors....OH WAIT....he's already F'up big time....nevermind!

i know what you're talking about and i can't really stand what they call RICERs you know with the big wings and useless hood scoops and over sized exhaust pipes they dont need? yeah, i'm gonna be a tuner. cams and small turbo with forged internals and super heavy duty sleeves(found a guy that sleeves for $60 per bore(still have to buy the sleeves though) pushing 500+ (at least 350+) to the wheels. with that big investment i'm not too sure about cosmetically enhancing the looks, i need to blend in with the crowd y'know? from the po-po. it doesnt help that its a rare car as it is. i have secrets for stuff for it.

the perfect amount of primer and matte paint helps work against one

and thanks . my paid training starts monday from 330 to 12 in the morning. incentive pay should be easy to make cause all i have to do on top of cutting a slice off of every other chicken(its like an assembly line(or should i say..dis assembly line

it isnt the cars speed in a REAL race that matters. its how well you yourself handle the corners and curves. so good brakes are mandatory. (build will be incredibly expensive to the working man by then) BUT STILL BETTER THAN BUYING A NEW CAR!
