with the governor off the engine it really winds up though , just havin a little trouble with the idle . it has to idle kinda high or it will bog down and die out, my guess is its still getting too much air and not enough fuel?? ive had to restrict the airflow into the carb quite a bit so far

I don't know alot about 2 cylinder engines but when that happens to my hondas I either turn the carb needle out to allow more fuel, or I drill out the main jet, and sometimes the idle jet. I am sure someone can tell you exactly what yo otta do.

got a little work done last night . mounted and wired the winch and boxed in the tabs for the radius arms. you can also see the steering box is mounted behind the winch.

Why don't you use a 350 chevy with Aluminum head's and intake you would definitetly have enough power to turn those axles.Just make sure you have a good roll bar and safety equipment when you make a test run.Is that a Corvette body?Nice job so-far,you are all over it!!!

ill triangulate the frame where needed to beef it up some. and im a ford guy , no way no how a single chevy part will ever find its way onto a build of mine haha. and no the body don't count its in no way made by gm. but yes its a stingray body

55% the drive chain will break.

35% the mower transmission explodes

10% it works fine.

Thats just from a fence sitter. Your skills are way beyound mine so just brush what I think off your shoulder friend. You know how the fence sitter Monday morning quarterbacks are right?

I've been thinking about something along these lines for a while now.. although i was gonna go 18-24hp, 22 or 25 inch wide atv tires, and lockable diffs off of a side by side.. oh not to mention selectable steering! Do you think that'd be excessive? :D

went and picked up some more heims today for the steering and built the linkage . she steers very easily now with the 4:1 ford box. im not going to hook up a pump to it right now because i won't need it but when my son is old enough to drive it i will be putting a pump on it so he doesn't have a hard time. ive been tossing around some ideas for the roll cage and how i could make it so its still easy to get in and out of with the cage on . i think im gonna just make a cage with a flat plate on the top on hinges as a hatch and get in from the top of the cage.

i got a new set of warn hubs to put on the d44 front, i need to order my enforcer clutch , bunch of random bolts and put fluids in the axles and she's ready to take for the first cruise around the shop . i also have a friend thats going to take care of the fiberglass work on the body then ill build some more mounts for it . im startin to get excited for the first ride though.
