In the start of this thread I was laughing at this guy. But after seeing his work and skills I really wonder now myself.

It's got to work right?

the treads not dead guys . ive been sidetracked with a few things, work has picked up and ive been working atleast 6 days a week and atleast 10 hrs a day, ive also been getting back into nitro r/c trucks which has been one of my favorite hobbies since i was a kid ( just dumped about 600$ into a savage). and i just closed on my new house two days ago so getting it ready to be moved into and moving all the new furniture and everything else has left me no time to play with the cart.

but for the good news, later this week i will be bringing the cart and a few of my other toys to the new house ( 3 car garage and tons of outside parking behind the garage!). as soon as i get my change of address and all my accounts changed to the new address ill be ordering the clutch i need and will have the videos up , as long as everything works as it should then ill build the cage and get the fiberglass work done and strip it and repaint it and post up some more videos of it bashing some mud .sorry to keep you guys hangin:oops:

yea sorry guys i know its been a long time:mad2:. ive been watching this thing collect dust in my new garage now for a while and im getting ready to start building one of my other trucks soon.

earlier today i went out and got a new 220v hobart welder for my garage and im gonna try to get it wired up asap, the clutch is still waiting to make it to me as they sent me the wrong one and then when i sent it back the one i need is on backorder. so thats the main hold up on this project.as soon as the welder is wired up im putting in the floor pan and i want to get the fiberglass work done soon also. im not giving up on this project just hittin some hangups.

it is only 18hp but 30 ft lbs of torque . with first gear being 90:1 it should have a very very low first gear , second is 44:1 so it will have a little more get up n go. ofcourse this all depends on sprocket sizes also . im going to try to toy around with different sprockets to get the perfect mix of low and high end when its all ready to go.

heres my latest 75$ beast haha

its some type of beefy kart frame with suzuki quad front end booger welded on it and the rear axle from the same quad . its got a 10 hp honda with comet 2 clutch and torque converter , runs but needs a belt. needless to say i will be fixing it the right way and tying the quad front into the tubing on the cart frame much better than it currently is . thinking on putting a triple snowmobile engine on it and a swing arm rear suspension and some nice soft shocks like the front has . rip it up and down the neighborhood a few times and probly sell it off so i don't get too far off track on the monster cart project. any good ideas ??
