Nice filter and carb. Is that those 75 mm inlet like $20 air filters? If it is those things are junk for filtering air. Even on my dragster its more just to get rocks and gritty water from flying into my carb venturi off the tires.

yep it's a 20$ filter... like you said it's more for keeping big objects out... and mostly for the look.. i nearly never ride the cart exept to go get the mail (400m ride)... lol

UPDATE AND FAIL REPORT...

actually its the brake caliper that failed... the turbo is now oiled! the only thing left to do to actually try the new setup is to link the compressors outlet to the intake... and plug the gas line

here are some pic... you can see the snapped brake...*SIGH!* i now have to buy another caliper... i think i'll go hydraulic this time...

It's a 13g off of a 1g automatic eclipse/talon. For the record the 14b flows more than the t25 that came on 2g dsm's. The 13g was the smallest offered on a DSM hence most likely to spool on this engine. Good luck on the project.

you are going to have alot of atomized fuel in your intake runner. thank god the turbo uses air and brass/bronze for seals and bearings!

You should finish this, and tape the result. I kind of want to see what happens.

How did you keep the love-joy coupler on the clutch bolt?

simple... take the bolt, cut the head (that leaves you with a stud) then take a 1/2 drill bit and bore something like 3/8 deep into the coupling, tighten set screw and tack weld the stud to the coupling from the inside. that makes you a "bolt-coupling combol" lol
