I have an older TD cutmaster 81. Usually 40A for the most part. Machines not very adjustable so I compensate on the travel speed. Have to jump to the 60A stuff for thicker metal.
I was trying out the thin stuff here. This was 18g and 30A if I remember right. Hard not to burn the metal out when it's this thin. View attachment 150790
The 65 amp machine I bought for doing thicker material, but I think only goes down to maybe 20amps but I didn’t have intention to cut a lot of thinner material and of right now that ls what I’ve been getting, so I’m kinda aggravated about not being able to thinner stuff but it’s not worth spending $4k on a 45 amp machine, but the. You can Etch with them and also “peck” holes for a center drill spot which would be awesome but that machine goes down to 10amps. Just enough to lightly burn the top of the metal.
