Read the last page man, and yes i did test it. At this point i need a new masterlink then im gonna look into doing a 1 carb setup with a mikuni, because there easier to tune than these stock keihens.

Aburley, go for it man. Is that 250 a 2 or 4 stroke?

I may just use these carbs after all, i just got a new masterlink and took her for a spin. The power is pretty awesome although she aint running perfect. By second gear i must be going atleast 35-40, i think i geared it too low, it will idle along no problem. It is running lean, as expected so once i get some pod filters i'll have to re-jet. I may just try running it half choke for the winter then re-jetting, because i'd rather have it jetted for summer use than winter.

it's a 4 stroke, but the carb on it is so screwed that it just needs replacing. i've already cleaned all the gunk out and its still bad. and what sucks is that its a mikuni carb too

How bad is the carb? i've yet to find a carb thats too dirty to clean.

So i've decided i will try a single carb setup, these Keihens suck, there a pain to tune. I also plan on re-doing the spindles, brackets, and front axle with a bit different geometry. I also bought a steering rack from a yerf dog. The only other thing i need to do is figure out this clutch, its a really dumb design, so sometimes it doesnt engage for a few seconds after i let off the clutch, then all of a sudden does and i end up stalling out. Anyways, This thing is a beast, i got it to 3rd today but had to let off, i think ill be sticking around 2nd most of the time. She spins the tires so easy also its great.

That's a pretty cool Idea.

Lots of blow guns like this have an OSHA approved restricter inside to "save us from all harm".
For more blasting power I'd probably try to defeat the restricter or use an older (pre-OSHA) model.

So i got my steering rack today, payed $45 for it, its brand new one from a yerf dog spiderbox kart. Finished up the clutch linkage also.

Heres a lil video, doesnt sound as good in the video as it does in person, still isnt running perfect but i'll see what i can do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voQVaBu97tE

and i attached a few pics of the steering rack.

Na i took the hard way and made my own stainless exhaust, internals are similar to a car exhaust tho, just a little less restrictive.

but i'd have to buy one, and i'm trying to keep this cheap. So far I'm only in around $235 not including consumables such as mig wire and cutting discs, etc.
