I would want a bigger engine for a kart that size anyways, dont blame you for not giving out illegal copies either.

so i got my uni pods in the mail, and welded up the new front axle. I also machined some aluminum wheel spacers to replace the crappy plastic ones i had on there.

I kept the same spindles, and just heated them up with some oxy/acet torches and bent them to cancel out the camber (KPI), so i dont know how strong that will be, hope they dont break.

The things are flippin expensive

There is about 10* of KPI and somewhere between 7* and 15* of caster (had to estimate).

I got a lever for my E-brake, its from a toyota van. theres a little switch on it that i may wire in with the start button so you cant start it if the E-brake is on to avoid taking off and wearing out the drum/pads.

I also got a door in my workshop haha, before it was just a piece of plastic, now its high quality pine haha.

Before you get ready to start a whole new frame, you might wanna think about some BIG FAT tires that you can run at really low pressure, :idea2: , that worked really well on some older 3 wheel ATVs, and this homebuilt Oddesy/golf kart lookin thing I put a Yammy DT360 motor on one time. The tires could be run at about 4 psi, you could hit a speed bump at about 30 and it would just go "blump blump" and ride right on, ;) This guy Alan that owned a shop across from me had this thing sitting outside his shop forever, with an old snowmobile motor on it. One day I asked him about it, and he said the motor was trashed, and mega expensive to repair. I offered to sell him this old Yammy DT 360 motor I picked up cheap from a buddy, and had had sitting under a workbench like forever. He said if I went ahead did the motor on it, we'd share it 50/50. I got it all together, and we had a blast with it for a few weeks, then one day I came in and it was gone. He had sold it!!! Gave me like $850 for my half though, so I was OK with that, :D :D

Thanks for the idea, but I'm pretty set on making more of a buggy frame eventually, prolly not till next year when i can go down to my dads farm and get some CVs and such off some old cars. I have started to design, and pretty much decided on rear trailing arms, and double a arms up front, i'm planning on making it about 5ft wide or so. I'll get some pictures of my designs up once there more complete, right now all i have is the back end.

Also, took it out in the snow today, works great, i'm running it half choke because of the cold, and the new uni pods, but it still sounds like its hitting around 10k or so, with the lack of traction i was able to short shift all the way up to 4rth then just put around at a little above idle. Once i find someone to take a video for me, ill post it up.

The tires I was talking about would work good on a suspended buggy too, ;) , it would be a sure footed beast that rides good for sure,
