The original Sarge bears the number of my truck in the Iraq war, 419th Trans Co. Truck 240 attached to the 1st AD. (armored division) 88M30 (fuel handler / mechanic)

We'll just call me the primary target shall we?

So, 241 is just the next number.

Continuing on:

What a Sunday it was as Sarge I and Sarge II looked on... as I transformed a pile of parts into their new sibling, Sarge III.

Sarge III has a stranger stance with a taller nose piece. The one in the pics is just a mock up (A laundry detergent bucket), I have to find some old gas tank to murder...

For your enjoyment, the last pic shows all three together.

Sure, they all look like Sarge, but they're all completely different animals. The only real thing that makes them a "Sarge" is that front clip made from a gas can and the grille.

Seeing the engine is a lefty, this one might have a nifty space for a little bed in the back, making it a truck of sorts.

I dunno, don't care. I just go at it & see what becomes of it.

Still a ways to go here, so stay tuned.

Yep.

Sorry..

but for someone that hated to paint a second kart rod in a color he already used on another one
this is getting a bit strange!

I mean, a second Sarge I already didn't understand quite frankly...
(you know better than me, that you only have one true love and no other kart can ever compete...)
But alright, after -I cannot count how many iterations / improvements- there are quite a handfull of green parts that are easier to store in a single unit :D

but now a third?
Don't get me wrong buddy, whatever makes you happy ...

but if that's what the baroness or the Wachtmeister died for..
I really must have missed something :(

Oh gosh golly jeepers gee whiz Sid. You know me better than that.

Everything changes.

Evidently I'm made of spray paint... and sometimes creation just takes the right frame I guess.

Wachtmeister is just fine, calm down.

The frame seen here, what was left of the original Kart Rod, Urban Defiance.

Curious as to the posture of the rider when seated. Does the driver sit upright and can reach the steering wheel, or must he/she double over?

I've posted this before, you gotta go back to when karts were new, old school. They weren't some comfy bubble wrapped ride.

Wachtmeister is just fine, calm down.

lack of lingual finesse on my part..

by dying I meant the Kart Rods thread in general, not necessarily the individual karts or any of their parts.
dead things don't die and repurposing is reversible as usual.
(I remember urban defiance's fate ;))

What I was trying to say is: for someone, that always needed something different than before, never repeated himself with other than the use of a wheel, clutch or base engine...
Someone that in your terms is "made of spray paint"
the diversity level shrunk rather abrubtly (color and theme wise).

And no, I don't have a problem with that [just to be sure I'm not to be misunderstood again]
I was just a bit worried about ... well color ;)

Sarges look great.. a bit more uniform (LOL) for what I was used to see in one of your threads.. that's basically all I wanted to point out ;)

Anyways.. nevermind ...

Just throw an Alligator Seat cover on one them!

There is always "That one Guy" like "Clinger" or "Black sheep Squadron"

That is hilarious!

And.... well... LOL!

Update:

You see, I'm limited in space ok? I don't have the room to store all of the... so it's time to do something about it.

Also, I'm in a slump of sorts. When that happens, stuff flies everywhere in my mind and weird crap happens.

... like what we've seen lately. It's like writers block... and it's chaos.

But, Chaos MUST happen or we don't emerge on track now do we?

That frame, which was once the 1st kart rod, has taken on a new meaning to me.

IT, is the transformer. It's the one that's so light and basic, it can even change into something else with ease!

Such as the TonkaRT's and the Semi O'Death!

Each has it's own motor and attachments.

Yep.

Stay tuned sid, there's a surprise at the end of this thread. (whenever that is.)
