Artistic time!

I got permission from this girl to use her photo as part of mine. She's a fellow artist and from time to time artists often collaborate on projects.

It's not completely right yet but I thought I'd give y'all a peek.

So, meet "The Sarge", in this killer artistic rendering. 3 Artists & their talents were combined to make this.

The actual image is 20 X 30 and will go on my wall next to The Urban Defiance photo I did last year.

Enjoy.

Cool stuff Kelly.

I think I might have to do a "kart rods" inspired build on the little manco kart I have...

Your karts are way cool; what I truly envy is the knowledge and ability to do the photo work that you just seem to conjure out of the eiather.....

The intro to Photography class was fun, and I still like to take pictures. But another thing I learned was that I should probably stick with machining parts.... the artistic types in class pulled things like that out of the air (on film, before photoshop was even a dream somewhere).

I guess I can still dream......

Hey, thanks. I appreciate it.

Machinist: Machining parts is an art form, don't let anyone tell you differently. I still stick to an old belief though. A simple polaroid can be more artistic than the best camera can deliver... just depends on who's pressin the button. Photographers can take pictures, artists know when to take the picture.

B.M.: If one is going to do a "themed kart" show us what ya got. Post a pic, tell me your interests / what kind of person you are: (e.g. down & dark, likes pinups, foot ball, whatever is in your life...) Maybe I'll just draw some ideas for ya. I just do it for fun.

one other thing, and I did mention it but I must again. I have the permission of these ladies to use their imagery. Although I could just "lift" the images & use them, I did ask for permission. It's an artists rule.

Back to the topic. I'll have something more to add this week... probably.

Hmmm... might take you up on that. I do have an idea of what I want to do, but I would like to see what crazy thing you could come up with.

Just goofing off... for 5 whole minutes.

bend up the side bars to hold you in, get rid of the roll bar, push back wheels back to the edge of the frame...

Get a junker metal domed garbage can... call it Da Bomb...
