aaaand... continuing the saga.
I've been a bit absent for a few days because of numerous family things going on and today was the end of that, so back to business.
Last night before bed, I spotted something cheap in the local classifieds. Pictures didn't really help but I figured it was worth a look should it be there in the morning.
...and as I do each month on payday, I put 100 bucks aside to buy whatever I want and today, at 8:30 am I hit the road for downtown SLC to get this cheap pile o' parts... a manco 2 seater that was a buggy... or something... but hey, parts is parts.
Well, I came home with it, for 80 bucks. What was included?
1 brand new rear 1" axle, good bearings, 6, 6" rims, 3 live axle hubs, 2 front hubs, 4 good sealed bearings, a usable sprocket carrier and 2 Briggs 5HP motors. (one runs)
So, the sprocket carrier goes to the Sarge because it matched nicely with the overall look, this freed up the carrier I'd been using for it to go back to Urban Defiance. The one on UD went back to the vintage racer (because it is really old), the live axle, bearings, hubs, 6" rims and old carrier complete my vintage ride.
This will free up the HANDS wheels I'd collected for it because the truth is, I'll never use them because I'll just hate myself if I mess them up... so I went for a more basic old school wheel for my vintage ride... plus I have spare stuff for it should I mess them up.
Anyhoo, some quick pics.
