What make and model is this? I think it’s homemade. This is for a friend.

I would venture to say that, yes, it is homemade.
I simply can't understand why a company would make such an overbuilt, ugly, square, steel frame.
But the steering wheel reminds me of a thread somewhere on this forum, where someone found a go kart frame on OfferUp or something, someone was trying to give away a go kart frame or something, but it was actually a very early go kart. The steering wheel is the same to me.

Homemade for sure..

No kart manufacturer would be dumb enough to equip a kart with a decapitation bar.
tell your friend to stay as far away from that thing as possible.

Reminds me of cars&cameras indy kart frame LOL

Not even close.

But, yeah, homemade, and not very well thought out. I can't think of a single kart with the scrub brakes on top of the wheels.

It honestly looks like something the Clampetts left behind when they moved to Beverly. Hills that is.

Yeeeah, the C&C Crue Cut Indy 500 was unreinforced, but THAT IS UGLY! And overbuilt for that matter.

it would still NOT be great.. but the 8 horse briggs is!
I'm sure he can make a ton of fun use of it.
(if with that abomination of a deathtrap.. IDK though)

I hope he's not getting hurt
that "decapitation bar" comment sounded funny.. but unfortunately isn't if your head or neck gets slammed against it..

why would it you might ask?
Well the horror fraud dolly wheels up front only need a few moments to catastrophically fail.

please tell him to stay safe!

Think of the money he'll spend getting this going, and it will still be garbage. Unless he already has some of the parts, there is at least $300-$400 in used parts to make it run. I think for the same budget he could do much better. Sell it for scrap and use the money for a better used frame.

Guys come on..

a free Briggs 8horse is great..
if it comes attached to a few dozen lbs of crap,
get a pressure washer and a large recycle bin and you still have a free flathead briggs :D
